Great experience! We had not tried CPK recently but thought we would give it a go, traveling through Durham. Host was great, helped us to get drinks & appetizers fast. Our pizza was super!!! Especially liked their bread w/olive oil. Super place for such a busy day!!

My daughter and I ordered a custom pizza- half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. Tasty! Ideal for one person. The salad, Petite Wedge? Pitiful. The complementary appetizer (warm bread)? Great! Service provided by Darice? Fantastic! Overall, we enjoyed our time and do recommend the fun-sized pizza! ?
Today was one of those days when I had to please my spouse and go eat wherever she wanted. The food at this place is not one of my favorites, but it was pretty good. My fish tacos were very filling and my spouse's pasta tasted very good. The dessert (will always be my favorite part of the meal) was very good. The girl who attended us, named Daniela, very kind and attentive. In hindsight it was a good experience. Fortunately, next time I have to choose the place.
My family of four was seated promplty, but then waited about 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us to at least order our drinks and appetizers. It was so long that the host apologized and took our drink orders. Still no one came. We are patient so we waited instead of just getting up and leaving. What made it so bad was the restaurant wasn't even busy. We finally received our food which was just OK. The service ruined it for us. We'll never be back.

I ordered today for the first time through DoorDash and the food is okay definitely not worth what I paid the pizzas are so small and has no flavor at all. I don’t think I will order from here again just due to the fact it’s way over priced and the quality isn’t there.
Ordered using doordash and it was yummy. Fettuccine Alfredo with broccolini is my favorite! Yhe street corn was also yummy! Will return!
Hubby and I have gone to CPK for years as part of our date night dinner rotation. The service and food has always been very good. We went last night yes, Valentine's, but before it was busy. We were seated immediately and addressed by our server within a few minutes. Our food was brought out within a reasonable timeframe. That's where the pleasantries end. Unfortunately, some of my food was undercooked. The manager, Ken made his rounds asking diners how everything was. When he got to us, I told him about my issue. His response was "Thanks for the feedback " and walked away. No offer to correct anything. Our server came over a few minutes later at which time I expressed my issue to her. Since she took my plate, I'm thinking she would have the issue corrected. Nope, she never brought my food back only the check telling us that my food have been taken off. I didn't want it taken off, I genuinely wanted my food, but done properly. To compound the issue, we watched Ken attend to another couple across the restaurant. Whatever issue they had, he took their plate of food, had it corrected and brought a new plate to them himself, not once but twice. While we were there, he did not come back to our side of the restaurant. To say I was terribly disappointed in this experience is an understatement. Every customer deserves better than this.
I was at California Pizza Kitchen last night for the first time since COVID hit. Almost no customers. So sad. Despite the lack of customers, the food was fantastic and the service couldn't have been better. Please go eat there! I will be back soon. We've got to do our part to keep these wonderful places open.
