Great selection of pinball and the games are immaculate! Fun arcades, air hockey! Good pizza, but wish they had a signature cocktail menu.
Came here for a Sunday Funday. A lot of games, good food and drink selection. Right next to the OG Durham ballpark.I highly recommend for groups of all ages and sizes!
Great place to watch the baseball game, have a pint, stay warm/cool, play arcade games, eat food, and chat! Large beer selection and very well lit during the day. There is also a large outdoor space to hangout as well.
This bar is huge and has plenty of space for big parties. Very cool and inexpensive arcade games are available if you want to have a fun weekend.

Like most bars. masks only needed for entry and not used by super majorities. Pizza ok. Pretzels. Not worthy over cooked bread dough no one cares for with cups of some cold jelled cheese. Dipping sauces. No one cares very apathetic staff. Just there for the beer and socializing you will be fine.
Fun atmosphere but the WORST pizza I’ve had in my life. We ordered the Garlic and “Bacon” pizza and got a floppy soggy crust with giant chunks of fatty meat (not even sure it was bacon) and about 100 gloves of whole garlic. I honestly lost my appetite. Make sure you eat before you go…
Felt like the heaters outside wasn't strong enough and not alot of tables and seating inside. Everything was fun and good
I hosted an event here (about 100 people). It was absolutely amazing! Kat (the event coordinator) facilitated the entire process. The private room had a nice set-up with TVs, seating, and a private bar! The staff is a pleasure and super helpful. Definitely recommend Boxcar for events in Durham!
