Great food and the ordering at the table with virtual me yes makes things easier and smooth. They have some lawn games for the kids and it’s really fun. Great place to eat when it’s hot because their seating area is shaded and it’s got the stream right next to it.
First time here.We tried the bowl with Jackfruit. We didn't like the Jackfruit but the overall bowl was pretty good. The sweet plantains were delicious as well as the watermelon lemonade. And those collard greens...AMAZING!!!

Staff? So friendly. Food? Best fries I’ve ever had. Seriously. $3. Drinks? They have bags of boozy frozen peach drink for $8. Atmosphere? There’s water, there’s shade, there’s awesome live jazz music. Do yourself a favor and come try this spot!
Tried for the first time yesterday & I LIVED! This food was so amazing. I had the Pernil Platter with an EXTRA side of tostones & it fed my soul! You get a huge amount of food and it's worth every penny. The location is cute & seating is outside, shaded under the location's intricate architecture. Had a good breeze going despite being in the 90s. I loved every minute of being here. We will definitely return! Chef's Kiss!
I highly recommend the American Tobacco company for a date night. I went up during daylight hours to get dinner. However the view of the fountains and waterfalls are so much better at night.Boricua Soul was an ok restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but felt like it could have been better, more flavorful, and authentic! You get a small amount of food but prices are reasonable.We got our food to go because there are other various seating options around campus! However the total combined experience was amazing and relaxing. Side note: we were able to walk off dinner afterwards around the campus!
Great location great food!! They also offer vegan options that are crazy good!!! Love the guy that took our order!! Very bubbly, energetic, and he wasn't afraid to laugh with us while he took our order and he also made great recommendations!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
The restaurant is a gem. I love the location. I'm always disappointed by the ppl who fuss about wait time; you could go somewhere else, yet not receive the same vibe nor food. Serves as a hub for great food and music. Many thanks to both the owner/ chef, chefs servers, & manager.
Coming down south, there was no Puerto Rican food in site. I heard about Boricua Soul long before coming to NC and I finally made it! Food was amazing! The owner was great and a former New Yorker ☺️ Make your way here when you’re sliding through Durham!
