Went here for father's day dinner and food was excellent. Staff was very accommodating to our dietary needs and high maintenance order changes :) They were kind and professional. I think they were understaffed so it was hard to get the servers attention to get silverware and more water, which is the only reason it didn't get a 5. Very lovely place for an elevated seafood dinner.
Recently had dinner at Durham's Bonefish Grill. TJ our server was great and took care of us start to finish. We have been a few times over the last few months and each time we have enjoyed our visit. The staff is always a pleasure. The grouper daily catch special was excellent and my wife's shrimp and scallop skewer was a great choice. The managing partner even dropped by our table to say hi and to make sure we enjoyed our visit. We did.
always good atmosphere and good food. imperial dip or bang bang shrimp is a must for the stater. and always ask what kind of cake they have with the warm molten middle.
Food was good. Rotating menu is a plus with good choice of seasonal catches. Decent wine list, and everything was reasonably priced for premium sea food. Minus on star for service. Everything was slow. Went in at 4pm on a Sunday, and about 1/3 of seats were filled (picking up to a little over half by time I left)15min to come around and take my intial order for drinks and food. Another 10min to come back with drinks. Appetizer showed up reasonably about 10-15min from ordering.l, however it was just shy of an hour from when I ordered to when the main dish arrived. To her credit waitress was courteous and did apologize for the delay (citing that a large number of to-go orders came in, and thus delayed my meal). Will try again at a later date to see if service improves. Overall enjoyed the meal and I wasn't feeling in a rush, so if you have the time or some good company to keep you occupied, worth checking out.
The atmosphere was phenomenal and the food was just as good. The service... THE SERVICE was beyond impeccable. They were all busting their butts hitting every table, never missing a beat. Blade (like the knife) was the man. My glass never went empty and he made sure we were completely taken care of and satisfied with our meal. The manager, Luke, also made sure everything was on point.We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Chapel Hill.

I love this BONEFISH and service is always good. This time everything came out cold. The restaurant was super cold inside and the food was too. I sent my soup back and it came back hot. Lobster, broccoli, and butter were all cold. No clue what was wrong. 4 stars because this has never happened and I always enjoy myself.
As a pescatarian, this is one of my go to restaurants. I love the ambience there. They have great food and cocktails. Their signature bang bang shrimp is delectable, and the calamari is amazing as well. The calamari has the most amazing dipping sauce! I ordered the dynamite salmon, which is a seasonal item. It was amazing so please try it out before they remove it from the menu. As I mentioned above, they having great cocktails. When I dined there last week, I ordered the pineapple martini, which was so tasty. I initially wanted to order the French 75, but they ran out of the ingredients for it, which means it's also a popular item. I want to try that one next time. The restaurant was not that packed when we went, and there is ample parking. It is also really close to the mall (Southpoint Mall) and other shopping centers.
Our waiter Brandon was awesome!I had a small issue with part of my meal coming out overdone. He was extremely professional and quick to get it fixed. I really appreciate his professional attentiveness . It was a busy night and we never had to wait for anything. And for sure try the smoked old fashioned your meal when you eat here.
Went to this Bone Fish on this Xmas Eve (2021) for holiday dinner. It was a awful experience. I ordered the Sea Bass, it arrived 15min after my wife and kids food. Fish looked like a old gym shoe and was cold. Waiter and management did not seem to care about this fact. They Replaced it with some bang bang tacos, I did not want. Then in the middle of our meal they turned lights on and started to stack chairs and close the restaurant -basically pushing us out. We have always gone to Bone Fish for special Xmas Eve dinner- never again. These guys do not care about the customer experience being terrible.
