I took my Mother here for Brunch on Mother’s Day. We got there early which was good because the indoor seating is very limited. The food was AMAZING!! We all loved it (we’re all vegan). I had the “Chicken” biscuit with gravy and two sides: sautéed kale and the potatoes. Mom and husband had pancakes and sides. Mom finished her plate which she never does. She also ate faster than usual! They were out of a few things which you have to expect at a small restaurant. The staff was friendly and we plan on returning soon to try the regular menu since they were only serving Brunch the day we went so there are lots more items for us to try!! Highly recommended!!
I had the Banu Muffin and Skrimp and Grits off the brunch menu. Incredible! If you’re going through Durham, don’t pass up an opportunity to stop here.

Tried this place out for the first time and the food was soooo good! In got the Mac n cheese (I forgot the vegan name for it lol) and the Philly fake steak. Both were DELICIOUS! Only bad thing is that I didn’t get two orders of the Mac n cheese ?. They ran out of their desserts so just gives me a reason to go back
Had the Chiken biscuit with breakfast potatoes from the brunch menu. It was so delicious and very, very filling. I will definitely be coming back.
Yay for more vegan restaurants in the triangle! The food at Banu is thoughtfully created and delicious. They have a wide variety to choose from and it is all good! This trip we got the burger and philly- both equally delicious! The service was wonderful and the guy working told us about their Thursday specials and bi-monthly brunch which we will definitely go back for! Whether you are vegan or not, check this place out!!
I did my happy hum and dance while eating the OG Chikin Sandwich (as a wrap instead of pretzel bun)!!! OMGEEZY it was full of flavor! Can't wait to get that again. AND the Kickin Kale Salad?!?!? The house dressing set that off! I will be back!

Phenomenal! As a vegetarian I miss having sandwiches that I actually love. I got the OG Chikin and absolutely loved it. Great flavors, nice soft pretzel bread. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak and I thought that was fantastic too. Fries are great. Thank you and I can't wait to go back!
Just had the kale and chickpea salad. I could eat it everyday! Delicious!!!
