Go on Wed and Sat. Be sure to order from the specials menu. Rinse. Repeat.The food is flavorful and the prices are easy on the wallet. I ordered way more food than I could eat in one sitting just to be able to taste everything but I think I could've gotten away with a ordering half off what I got and I would've been satisfied.
Such wonderful service and food. This is probably my favorite place to eat on ninth Street.
The Wednesday vietnamese specials are my favorite. I especially love the hu tieu (noodle soup). Great value too and good service. My go to for food on 9th street!

Does Banh's need another 5-star review? No. We all know they're great! I guess just now that I live farther from Durham and don't get the chance to fight for a table on specials days as much anymore, I don't mind sharing!
The best deal in Durham and the nicest owners you’ll ever find.One very important note: Always order off the Specials board, especially on Wednesdays and Saturdays when they serve more traditional Vietnamese dishes. I cannot stress this enough: order off the regular menu and you’ll be somewhat disappointed. Order off the Specials and you’ll be blown away.
Just very bland. Seen good reviews, was hoping to get good food. My daughter got curry and you can see it’s got huge chucks of chicken, very little sauce, no spice. I got the moo goo gui pan, or something. Again bland. Nice array of veggies but very bland. Even the rice. Very disappointed.
The sauce is very good! I highly recommend the chicken wings, and the broccoli does not taste like plastic (which means it’s very well cooked). They only have Vietnamese food on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The portion size is perfect too!

I want whoever wrote a negative comment to not be woken up by their alarm clock, to step on a lego, and to eat overcooked broccoli because the FOOD, the SERVICE, the ATMOSPHERE were nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL.
