We ordered a catered lunch for 50 people from Fernando at Zapatas in Cornelius! We had the taco bar … let’s just say that the food was outstanding (guacamole is beyond delicious) The combo of chicken and beef tacos was well received by everyone and if you can make all 50 people happy then that’s AMAZING!! I highly recommend this restaurant and if you’re looking for catering then Fernando is your go to guy!!!
I can say the food and salsa were good but that’s it. I’m not sure if our server was having a bad day or what but from the moment we sat down she acted like we were in inconvenience. I ordered a drink they was suppose to be 22 oz but no way was the glass 22 Oz and more than half was ice. Expensive glass of ice. But if you just want to eat and not worried about good service and good drinks than you will enjoy it.
Standard fare Mexican food at a decent price. Server was very courteous. Food took a bit long, but I'd put that on the labor shortage. Would go again.
We just moved to the area from WV been trying to find good Mexican place and we found a Great one!!!! If you have never eaten here you are missing out it’s Awesome!!! The Margaritas & the Quesobirria tacos are Amazing!!!!
This place never disappoints. Amazing food! Pleasant environment, and the wait staff is wonderful. Highly recommend Zapata’s for a great meal out.

We heard about this from new neighbors….very good food and we compare our Mexican food with having lived in the south west. This was very good even to start their salsa so good chunky and just right. Our daughter ordered the street tacos excellent! I had a combo plate that included chili rellanos. This will be my new place to go…..
Went with quite a large group and really enjoyed the experience here! Service was very quick for a large group and staff was very friendly. Loved the arroz con pollo and chips and salsa.

Man this place is a absolute gem. They have SO MANY delicious options, particularly for the vegans / vegetarians. Staff is super friendly and attentive as well, Santiago always takes great care of us.
