Traveling through Cornelius and stopped at the Wendy's at 20410 W Catawba. My compliments to the young man named Sheley. Had a trainee and the only other person. That young man did his thing. If he's not a manager he needs to be and should be compensated somehow because he could have come in and walked out because he had no help. He deserves to be praised.
We placed a mobile order for pickup. Got to the location to be told they were closed until 6:30 PM EST, so we waited in the parking lot unit 6:30 PM EST. We pulled back up to the loud speaker at 6:30 PM EST to be told they will not be taking any orders until their manager gets there which will be around 7:00 PM EST. After that we asked about the mobile order and the guy replied through the loud speaker that we should cancel it and get a refund. I mean what is the sense of these employees even working there if they are not actually working. At this time I cancelled my order, contacted their corporate office and McDonalds got my money instead.

THIS PLACE SUCKS. BRAND NEW STORE AND THE LOBBY ISN'T OPEN FOR TRUCK DRIVERS OR ANYONE WHO HAS A VEHICLE THAT CAN'T GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WENDY'S!!!! The management should fire all the employees and turn this place into an Arby's, atleast Arby's employees and staff have it together. These people are useless. Corneilius health inspectors should atleast shut it down completely.
If I can give a zero I would. I go to Wendy’s all the time, in Cornelius because my daughter love it. If there is no one new at the window it’s always the manager Terry. She is very familiar with my face.. Anyway my last order was messed up. I ask to speak Terry, and she came to the window with a nasty attitude. Every time, I go there and she is at the window, she never speak. Her face always frown up. Maybe she don’t like black people.
The drive-thru dude taking our order today (Feb 6th, 2022) around 1:30ish wouldn't let me finish my sentence and responded way before I was done. Then I asked him to go a little slower and he screamed something (through my window, couldn't understand) then I presume he left the register or went to personally make our food or something because the payment window stopped accepting people. I didn't feel comfortable and went across the street to McDonald's instead.I just washed a chicken sandwich.
Wendy's advertising free ANY beverage with breakfast and I wanted a cold coffee which the lady said was not free.
Thank you Wendy‘s crew for being so sweet to my dog girl in the to go window tonight. We always enjoy our Wendy’s trips.
I currently work here and daily we are verbally abused by our store manager. She is very out of touch with reality and creates a hostile work environment. Every employee leaves or loses their happiness. No other place is really hiring and this is so treacherous..... Our boss is mentally ill and we have complained to top levels and noon cares even visiting managers tell on her and we still have to take her demeaning behavior....
I work 3rd shift and this is my go to place for lunch. Grilled chicken sandwich and baked potato is what I usually get.
