Restaurant is right on the water in a little inlet. The property is nice and looks as though the outdoor area would be great for live music and dancing with lots of seating. Very pretty view. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Online it appears to be upscale and says reservations only, but the dress was mostly casual, some guests in bathing suits with coverups, mostly everyone else was wearing shorts. We weren’t sure if they’re just short staffed or not using many of the tables available. When I made reservations there was only one time slot available for the evening I requested and we stayed through the time I would’ve liked, but didn’t see the tables filled? The food was good, but a bit overpriced for what you get.
Visited on Wed 4/27 in a group of about 15. I enjoyed my grilled shrimp with asparagus dinner which was excellent except for very chewy asparagus. I would like to suggest when serving large plates to garnish with a leaf of lettuce .It fills in the plate and makes it look like more . Other in the group also enjoyed their various dinners as well. Service was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant. The view was terrific

It’s been several years since we have been here and looking at the bipolar reviews, we almost didn’t go. Glad that we did try it again. No the lunch didn’t Change Our Lives Forever!!!! Or other silliness. The service was prompt, not instant, but we were not looking for a 45 minute eat and run. Our server was well informed. We went on a sunny Friday, and sat outside. The restaurant was maybe half full. Food was good to very good, and what we hoped for. There are three spots to eat: indoors, on a large enclosed sunroom, or outside (tables have umbrellas. The latter two will have at least some view of the water. This restaurant is in a little cove, and the outside has a little boardwalk around the perimeter where small boats are docked. They also have installed a sandy “beach” with couches by the water, very cool spot. The restaurant itself is in the back of a residential subdivision, so it will feel odd going there the first time. The turn off of the main road has a sign, but it’s easy to overshoot, in part because some obnoxious local will be tailgating you in a SUV. Overall a very relaxing pleasant dinner. Will plan to go again for lunch (I’m sure it’s packed for dinner and holidays, and I’d rather go off peak). My only criticism is that someone forgot to bring in the seat cushions before the previous night’s rain. My seat in the sun was fine, but his was dry only for the first few minutes. You can guess what happened! Luckily we weren’t going back to work or a social event, or it would have been really awkward. I can’t drop them a notch for that, we both got a good laugh.
It was our first time trying Port City Club. Food and service was amazing. My only complaint is the sun comes in very strong and is right in patrons eyes. There were no shades to pull down.
Ordered the grouper with veggies and a house salad … the grouper was still raw … not flakey, veggies were ice cold and salad had large slices of cucumber and tomatoes that I had to cut into fours to be able to eat!!! The waitresses admitted they had no chef that’s why there were no specials !!! Calamari was undercooked …. Terrible experience

So I had a reservation for 645pm for Valentine’s Day with my wife and 2 kids. We arrived at 630 and was seated right away. I was happy about that but then 30 min had gone by and no one came to great us and take our drink order. At 7 I went back to the hosted and explained this and they said that they would figure out who my waitress was and send them to my table. When she arrived she asked what my wife and I wanted to drink and wanted to make sure the kids were actually getting something to drink. With no apology for taking so long. And that was just the beginning. The good on the other hand wasn’t bad. The place needs better service for how upscale it’s supposed to be.
I notice a bunch of whiney "They don't wear masks posts" they do wear masks. (Not that I care) Food, drink ambiance all awesome!!
Love this place. My first visit was awesome.Great food choices!I went for dinner.Hopefully soon lunch will open back up.Great service.Atmosphere.Ambiance.Keep up the great work!!!!
