Had a really solid lunch experience. The Caesar dressing was not the best. Solid service as well. Just wasn’t “wowed” for the 5th star.
Let me start by saying I’ve been to both locations probably 50 times, so obviously I love it here. But I’ll just say, Morgan is legit the most awesome human I’ve met at the Cornelius location. She’s so personable, could probably sell anyone anything & I’m sure will go far in life. If you dine with Morgan, be prepared to have the best dining experience & feel like you’re talking to family. I think everyone there could learn from her.
I was visiting NC on business from Cincinnati. Was playing some golf by myself Wednesday 7/29/22 afternoon and 3 gentlemen let me join their group come hold to find out their the owners of Fresh Chef Kitchen. Very nice gentlemen down to earth treat.So today I figure I would try their Restaurant. Man was it good. The stuff is Very friendly. Manager was excellent on top it. Waiters were hustling making sure everyone stay happy.Highly recommended one their location if anyone looking for a place to eat. Grilled Hawaiian Chicken was excellent.Best of lucky gentlemen,Until we cross paths again,Dale
Food was delicious - once it came out correct. Service was practically nonexistent, had to flag down a server 3 times to get anything. Place was practically empty, now I know why. Wouldn’t recommend it, and probably won’t be going back.
What a GREAT place! I have recently relocated to CLT from the triangle. I was taking a class at a nearby facility and needed to grab a quick lunch a couple days a week for a month or so. I tried fresh chef, simply for the name and convenience the first time, and WHOA BOY am I ever glad I did!I LOVE a good salad, and they never ceased to amaze me. A to go order with no wilted lettuce, bitter, unripe ingredients or subpar portions? For a great price? C'mon!Caesar salads for the win, but the other blackened chicken salad every bit as good, shrimp wrap, out of this world. I have been raving to my family about this ever since I found it, now all three of my kids have visited multiple times and loved it as well.Staff is eager, kind, super pleasant, young and attentive. How the heck do they do that?Quite simply, I join the ranks of the other reviewers saying, this place is terrific and I can strongly recommend visiting!
Fresh Chef Kitchen keeps climbing up the tastebud ladder with delicious options. Tried the Salmon wrap this time and it will now be a go-to move. Great for after an afternoon on Lake Norman. Plenty of good parking, and outdoor seating too.
Nice lunch visit. Tomato Basil soup, Teriyaki Filet with their terrific shoestring potatoes. A real good smoked over a green salad. I was surprised by the CC service charge. Just kinda showed up one day. I paid cash and it was taken off, but it was not pointed out. 1 star deduction for that.
If I could give no stars I would. I have been there twice.. first time was a terrible service experience. But wanted to give it a second chance only to be disappointed again. Not only did it take 15 minutes to get seated when only 2 people were there but once seated took another 20 minutes.. and with 20 places open they seat us right next to someone which is strange because aren’t we supposed to at least try to social distance for covid?! Then we had to go get whoever the waitress was who was just hanging out on her phone doing nothing. We just walked out and went somewhere else.Food is great though can’t complain. But now we only go to the Mooresville location. They are absolutely awesome there even when it’s busy. So when going to fresh chef I recommend going to Mooresville and don’t waste your time at the Cornelius location.
Ordered carry out from here. Not bad but they also weren't very diligent about verifying ingredients. I told them I had a dairy allergy and still received a salad with croutons on it that were impossible to remove bc they were so small. As someone with an allergy wouldn't recommend.
No masks with staff. Got wife’s order wrong . Fries cool
