We get take-out often and dine-in occasionally. We've always had a great experience, except for our most recent visit.This time the menus didn't show prices and somehow the bill was double the usual cost!We always order the same items and have noticed the price varies based on the sever.
Really terrible service. I would give zero stars if I could. We were there for almost two hours and we only saw our server 3-4 times. Our drinks were not filled. We ordered appetizers and never got them. We were seated and waited 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered. After that quite some time passed and a manager came to get our drink order. When the food finally came it was sloppily made. We had to get up and ask someone for our bill as no one was serving us. I understand being busy but don’t take parties if you are not going to provide them with good service.
Absolutely horrible experience from stepping into the establishment. Almost fell on the floor walking to the table sure to greasiness on the floor. Took over an hour for food, never got drink refills, received food cold (all 3 dishes) - as in refrigerator cold on a warm plate. Asked to have warm food x 3 with cold food returning to the table every time. Once got cold food, still couldn’t eat for 20 minutes because waiting on silverware. The waiter could care less about any of it. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a horrible. I didn’t even eat after waiting 2.5 hours. I’m appalled!!!
Wait staff are proficient and friendly. The food is always pleasing to me. The restaurant is very clean.
So far my roommate and I have been here twice and we have really enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is nice. It's never crazy busy when we have gone and the food is huge portions for the price.I got the nachos this time and they were so fire. The queso they use has just a hint of spice and it gives them a really good flavor. Last time I got the shrimp tacos. I'm pretty sure it was atleast 6 shrimp a taco and they ain't no Lil beach shrimp you feel me. They are like the big ones. So the bang for your buck is deff there.The front end of the house seem to have there ish together. As well as the back end. Everything was great. Both experiences were great and we deff plan to go back.There are a couple other Mexican restaurants in town but this one so far is our go to!!
The two times we've been, the service was impeccable, and the food and drinks were abundant and oh so full of flavor! We can't wait to return, and share this awesome place with multiple groups of friends. It's going to be our new go-to Mexican for sure.
We really enjoy El Toro for Mexican food in the LKN area. The queso is delicious and the food is very flavorful. The staff are very speedy. We are not a fan of their margaritas and tend to stick to beer there, but the food and ambiance make this a great place!
So yes it's a Mexican restaurant. But the tacos are outstanding. The aroz con pollo is absolutely delicious. Super friendly staff. And I'm so glad it's close to my house because now I have a regular place to eat mexican. Love this place!

Stopped here for dinner after buying my husband a new jeep. This margarita was delicious. The food was typical Mexican American stuff. I would have given this place 5 stars. But the server wasn't very good. He seemed irritated from the moment we sat down. I specifically asked if they had any drink specials that day. And he said no. I was cool with that. Ordered this drink. Ordered our food. And had a decent meal. As we were leaving I noticed a sign that said they had 1/2 price margaritas that day. I checked my receipt and I paid full price for my drink. I looked and realized it was certain margaritas that were half price. But when I asked, he told me there were no specials that day. I didn't complain. We just went ahead and left. But maybe someone should be checking on the servers here. Because that guy was having a bad day, for one reason or another. I didn't want to make it worse by complaining. But I would probably have Ordered more, and tipped more (than the $20 I already left on a $40 tab) had I received better service.
