I went here with my son and daughter for a family anniversary dinner. We enjoyed the meal, the ambiance was charming, the service was excellent, but I felt the food, while very good, was rather overpriced. I had the calamari as an appetizer and it was really tasty, but almost half of the dish was hot peppers - I like peppers, but felt it was too much of them and not enough calamari. We also had a cheeseboard to share, which was fine. My son ordered the Cowboy Rib eye steak, and enjoyed it but wasn't sure it was worth its $62 price. My hangar steak was more reasonable and quite good. The drinks, also, were rather pricey. It seems to be a popular place, but I'm not sure I would go back again, there are other restaurants nearby that I feel offer even better food for less money.

Amazing food…the bartender, Ian, was AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, incredible food and amazing drinks. Take it from me I HIGHLY recommend this dining experience! This is my new Charlotte local favorite when I’m in town hands down

First, the establishment is in a wonderful restored older home that is very nice. The staff was first class and know their product well as they present the offerings. I really enjoyed the experience. However, I was entertaining business associates on company business and must present receipts for expenses. We both ordered old fashions with a decent well known rye. They did not have it, but said they knew a good substitute. The house old fashioned is14.00. After 2 apiece and a cheese board, my bill was 108.00. The bourbons are not listed on the menu or pricied visually. That should be thought over instead of placing the customer in a position to quiz the bartender about every order Again, it's a really nice restaurant and bar and would recommend.

Finally got around to checking this awesome place out and it did not disappoint. Sat at a table in the bar and loved watching the bartenders make all of the drinks. My husband got the old fashioned and said it was one of the best he's had! We split the scallops and the wagyu meatloaf - seriously amazing. The service was also top notch. We can't wait to make this a regular date night spot!

I was taken here by a friend for my 30th birthday! I was so impressed with how important it was for the restaurant to make me feel special. The server (Noah) was super knowledgeable and helpful in the menu and our drinks. Customer service is a dying art and they by far still have their flame lit!

Fantastic in every way!! No regrets!

Our reservations got mixed up on Open Table and Eric made sure there was a spot created for us. We had an amazing time watching their “Chemists” work their magic. Brie was amazing, as was the entire meal. Noah was a wealth of knowledge for all things Bourbon, Whiskey, and History.

Delicious!! Decided on having my birthday dinner here and really enjoyed it. From the beautiful restaurant to the outstanding service and everything in between, it was a lovely night. I cannot say enough good things about our fabulous server Alex - knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, she absolutely made the night even more lovely. And the food - yum. Get the Brie - you're welcome. It's amazing and we inhaled it. The pork chop - delicious. The Veal Parm - bring your appetite! Cheesy and massive. The gnocchi - fresh and full of flavor. The ribeye - cooked perfectly. All around, a great meal and a great night. The ambience really cements the experience (think warm, cozy and candlelit). Definitely recommend and will be back!

A decent restaurant that is priced and self-identified as experiential dining. If you’re going to spend the money, you’re better served going to Kindred.
