We sat at the bar and had the cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were excellent and topped with the freshest ingredients. The fries are very thin cut and the crispy ones were yummy! You get what you pay for, and there’s a reason that 131 Main is highly rated.
This is the best restaurant in North Carolina. We have eaten here many times and the food is always excellent. The Ahi Tuna salad is wonderful. Today I had the grilled halibut with a kale quinoa salad. It was magnificent. At the end on the meal I had coffee and it was very good. This was a celebration lunch that turned out perfectly.
One of our go-to restaurants is 131 Main. There baby back ribs are so good it’s hard to order anything else. The accompanying fries and Cole slaw are also terrific. Enjoying them on the lovely outdoor patio makes for a terrific meal.
131 Main is our go to every Friday night. We always sit at the bar. The bar tenders Maddy, Dave and Mary are the absolute best. Their drinks are on point but more importantly they are all so personable. The food always delicious. Overall great food and service.
Amazing food! Great date night restaurant! The smoked salmon was wonderful especially for the first time having it. Shrimp and Grits had some Cajun spice and was very filling. My husband ordered the ribeye and was utterly impressed! Service was quick and nice although the servers don't wear masks. We will definitely return!
We have enjoyed the food from all the 131 Mains we have visited. This location has very good service and the food was delicious. If we lived here we would be here 2 times a week.
We consider ourselves “regulars “ at 131 Main. We absolutely love the food, and the service is the best I’ve experienced. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a giant slice of banana cream pie!
I’m an out of towner from Maryland and I was recommended to try this restaurant from a few people. I visited this location for the first time on February 6, 2022 and reservations for 8pm. My party and I arrived at 7:45pm and we were seated right away, our waitresses name was Eryn and she was absolutely amazing!! I ordered the crab cake salad, another person in my party got the double pork chop and the north Caroline rainbow trout. We also tried the deviled eggs, cast iron corn bread and white cheddar cheese grits and they were all delicious. I will definitely be returning and asking for Eryn specifically.
My husband and I dined here twice last week. The first time we split the veggie burger which, unbelievably to us, has a beet base and the most delicious flavor of any burger we’ve ever had - veggie or otherwise. The second time we had the crab cakes…fresher and more flavorful than any we’ve had closer to the ocean. Both times we had the smoked salmon appetizer and fries. I can’t say enough about how great the food is, how friendly the bar staff is, and the overall atmosphere of 131. Big fans!
