1st time going here... It was dfntly good. The waitress described the size of their burger as equal to the whopper. But the taste & quality was better than the whopper!
The old timey diner feel you get when you go into places like this is unmatched. They're just missing a claw machine and a couple of classic arcade games. But places like that you can expect a good and greasy meal that slaps you in the face with goodness. It was what I was expecting from this place but the slap was as soft as a marshmallow, the mini kind. I tried some dinner staples and was disappointed for the most part. The fries are crinkle cut, hot but flavorless. The hotdogs were cheap and mushy. The chili was cheap and very tomatoey. Not sure why I was expecting coney quality. But the burger was good. It tastes exactly like what you would expect from an old timey burger joint. It was enough to make me come back and see what else they have to offer.
Great food at even better prices. Service is great. It's like taking a step back in time to when life was affordable and people were kind to one another.
Love the chili slaw dogs. Big fan of the diet cherry sundrop too. Love what a burger !!!!
This is a locals place. Pretty busy on Saturday even after lunch hour. Classic, old school hamburger restaurant. Friendly and staff works efficiently, seems like a team that has been working together a while.Everything you can have your way, made to order. May not be the best burger but it is a historical burger and local flavor.
I loved it! I'm a fan of the place and there aren't any near my house so we took the grandkids.
Great local spot for burgers and hot dogs. Friendly folks and good food. You can call in your takeout order ahead of time. You may have to wait but it's worth it because the burger is fresh everytime.
Super friendly staff, quick service, good food. Restaurant could use a little extra attention as far as cleanliness goes.
It is not the Texas chain. This is a local NC chain. Food was good. It was a fun place. The time we went, the syrup on the sodas were very weak.
This has been a hometown favorite for years.. What A Burger is always a great choice.
