Just had, I kid you not, the most well-assembled chick’n wrap I’ve ever had from any Tropical Smoothie, served by some of the kindest, most sympathetic people I’ve met in fast food. A+, y’all. Keep it up.
When my wife bit into her hummus veggie wrap a piece of plastic was in the food what a surprise this was deff could have caused major injury this must have accidentally fell into the product somehow I know mistakes happen and places like this get their food pre packages from warehouses but when I went back to the restaurant to show the manager he quickly said it’s no way that could have happened and accused me of planting this plastic in the wrap which absolutely blew my mind all I wanted was my money back and the wrap replaced which they did replace the wrap but the accusations of me maliciously planting this in the food is just absolutely insane very unprofessional place of business I couldn’t find my receipt for the order at the time and he said he didn’t have time to run the tap back to see if I really was in the store that day well I found the receipt and have filled a complaint with the corporate office of tropical smoothie strong word we’re exchanged from both parties and I’m left feeling like I did wrong when my wife could have been really injured stay away from this location please whatever you do
Huge piece of plastic stabbed my friend in the mouth when she took a bite. whoever is in charge tried to say she put it there and that they didnt have the time to review footage to see if she was ACTUALLY in the store. thankfully she didnt swallow it.
Went here multiple times with my family and the food and smoothies were absolutely amazing but, suddenly the menu changed and so did the workers and the quality of the smoothies being made went down. This is the only tropical smoothies closest to where I live at the moment so this was very upsetting especially for the times when I crave tropical smoothie. I've just ended up going to a location that is farther away??♀️
I ordered a Caribbean jerk wrap with plant based chicken and extra sauce (my husband picked it up for me). The wrap was very dry… not only did they forget the extra jerk sauce (that I was charged for) but they forgot the standard amount of jerk sauce too. I called the store… an employee who sounded about 13 (she said she was 16) said there was no manager available and sounded panicky, stating “ohhhhh I don’t know what to do!!” I replied “can I make a suggestion? How about I come back to the store and you guys remake the wrap the way I ordered it?” She said “ummmm yeah! That’s fine”.When I got to the store the next day, she said “I talked to my manager, and he said we can’t do that “. I explained that I paid for the wrap - I wasn’t even asking for my money back, just asking for the product that I paid for, which is a wrap with extra sauce. She told me no and “sorry”. I asked to see the manager and she said “it’s just us here (she pointed to herself and another teenage girl) and a guy who doesn’t speak English” (can’t make this stuff up). I walked out.I called the following day to speak to the manager… the girl who answered the phone said “well, I guess that would be me, I’m the manager”. Because she sounded like she couldn’t be any older than 16, I asked her “how old are you?” “16” she replied. “Well, then there’s no way you can be the manager”. “Well, I don’t know…” “Who does your scheduling?” “Oh, his name is AJ, he’s not here”. “Well then why would you say you’re the manager?” “I don’t knowwww…”Whenever I call, AJ is nowhere to be found. I can’t wrap my head around how he lets a group of 16 year olds run the store. Where is he all the time? Why would he not allow his employees to remake an order THEY messed up? I just want a refund at this point… doubt I’ll ever get one.
I was absolutely astonished upon walking into tropical smoothie cafe and finding, to my horror and utter disbelief, an employee making a sad attempt to dust. The below par dusting skills caused dust and sediment to be thrown everywhere all over the counters and into the eyes of everyone around. Because of the environment I turned and ran as fast as I could out of the establishment, on an empty stomach.
so i went here a little while ago and this dude named Ajay was yelling at his employees and being very very rude. All I wanted to get was my banana smoothie and instead I got an unpleasant experience and I was very upset about how the workers were treated. smoothie was good tho!?
Ur gonna have to pretend its zero stars cause that's what i rate Ajay (the manager). I walked in a couple days ago and i saw one of the employees crying, and then when i went to pay he just gave me such an attitude. Teenagers shouldn't have to put up with such a toxic workplace... they're KIDS. but anyways "sunrise sunset smoothie" used to be good but lately it just doesn't give that WOW factor if you know what i mean. if you want something good then go to smoothie king or panera. btw there's a new acai place in concord right next to food lion and its delicious. definitely recommend. (plus they don't treat their employees like trash....)
No greeting, just stares. Then they spoke to me like i was trying to convince them to sell me a watered down vegetable smoothie. Customer Service is severely lacking I assume im not the target audience those you ladies expect to buy from there but why would I want too after walking in saying hey and being given a tone of attitude. An i just wanted a smoothie. Never again.
I was here a few days ago. And let me just say, the things I saw from Ajay were horrendous I was absolutely shocked. All I wanted was my quesadilla, and he started yelling at his employees very rudely (it was unnecessary and unacceptable) so I went up to him and told him he needs to calm down. And you won’t believe what he did… HE THREW THE QUESADILLA AT ME! Very unprofessional! Someone needs to get a hold of this guy! IMMEDIATELY! Will never be going back to this location.
