Very good food with a wide variety and excellent sauces for anyone's taste. The BBQ egg roll appetizer is delicious. The service was less than great. The hostess sat us at an uncleaned booth then just walked away. The waitress kept apologizing for the delay in getting our food out because the cooks got it wrong. It certainly wasn't her fault and she did everything to make it right. The place was downright frigid! So much so that we boxed up our meal early and went back to the hotel to finish it.
I will never eat here again. Service was not friendly, food wasn't good, took forever to be seated. Our orders were messed up. We ordered loaded tater tots for appetizer. They came out with only queso. Sent back came out correct then. Our food came out immediately behind it. Ribs were tough. Pulled pork was flavorless. Chicken was disgusting. Sliced pork was only thing on the plate that was edible.
I had the brisket grilled cheese, and it was just plain delicious. The bread was fresh and yummy, and the cheese and brisket combination was fantastic. The waitress was super busy, but she made sure to check with me regularly. Highly recommended
The service was great, we were tended to quickly and had good seating. The BBQ egg roll appetizer was delicious and I would recommend it. It comes in six pieces with sauce. We also ordered the rib and wing meal and two sandwich meals. Overall everything was decently priced and tasted good. The sauces on the table aren't anything special, they all tasted somewhat similar. Even the spicy ones didn't taste hot at all. They were still good on the food but none stood out. There's original sauce, honey BBQ, hot, and spicy.I would dine here again. The bathrooms were clean, the service was quick and attentive and the pricing was appropriate to the portions. Nice place to stop for a bite.
Everything was delicious. Our server suggested the pulled pork egg rolls and tell me why she ain't never lied. They were great. My new BBQ spot in Concord ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful & quick service - food was delicious! They definitely did not feel like a chain. They felt like a hometown BBQ joint in terms of quality & service. Absolutely plan on coming back!
If your looking for good BBQ at reasonable prices this is the place. The quality of the food is much better than Sticky Fingers down the street.
This location is conveniently located right at the exit of the I85 towards Concord Mills, on the right. Clean, very good service and the food is really good. Their pulled pork sandwich is huge, I particularly like the Sweet Carolina.Their portions on every item of the menu are really good size and their Carolina Sauce is on point!!So if you are around the Concord Mills area and want to taste some good BBQ, just stop by this Sonny's location.
This was my first visit to this particular location and it was fantastic.The waitress, Hannah, was absolutely excellent - so friendly and attentive. I was excited to see a new menu item listed - Brisket Grilled Cheese, and ordered it. What a scrumptious, must-try item! The sweet tea was perfection, the coleslaw was great, super fresh, and their banana pudding is my fave. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Kudos to this location, which was extra clean, making me breathe easier with the whole COVID-19 thing going on.
Sonnys in concord is always a great place to stop for some country style bbq. Their egg rolls are an awesome appetizer, they will have you hooked.
