I absolutely hate doing this. With that being said...This was a pretty terrible experience. We ordered:1 Spicy Tuna Roll1 Shrimp Tempura Roll1 Chicken Pad ThaiI added photos for relevance. Can YOU tell the difference between the rolls? There was far far too much rice on the rolls.Even worse the rice was unseasoned, overcooked. Tempura was completely mushy. There was an off taste as well. It reminds me of foods fried to cover their age.The Spicy Tuna was mixed with panko, and created an awful texture in the roll. There was ZERO heat. NONE. Instead it tasted like sweet and sour sauce was added by accident. The best flavor was the avocado and cucumber, but there was no consistency with the knife work. Big pieces, little pieces, etc.Now. The ultimate sin...Their Pad Thai. I think in its current state, it has to be taken off the menu. For the 5 senses of Pad Thai they Hit 2: Sweet and sour. I swear i'm seeing a trend. The noodles were over cooked, very little green onions, ZERO HEAT, NO SALT. Let me say that again: NO SALT. The chicken was crazy over cooked and gamey, like it was heated in a microwave. Pad Thai was somehow dry. The tamarind flavor was so weak it tasted like sugar water. The only flavor to the dish was the lime I squeezed myself. I didn't taste a hint of fish sauce. It was a disaster. Based on the comments they must have a new cook and sushi chef. With absolutely no Expediter, quality control is just abysmal. You just can't send this out to people. Not for $30 with additional tip. I just don't think I can give them another chance.
The only reason that I gave this place a star was because the decor was nice and our waitress was nice. Every part of this meal was bad. The Thai iced tea was too sweet, we ordered a shrimp and veggie tempura appetizer and we got three pieces of shrimp, about 15 cut up vegetables and a whole load of deep-fried nothing with no tempura sauce. It definitely wasn’t tempura in any way, and it was expensive. Do not waste your money on their tempura. My husband got Tom Kha soup, and while the flavor was good, almost the entire bowl was filled with sliced onions. I got the Pad Thai - the noodles were extremely overcooked their were basically no components to this dish other than noodles in a bland sauce along with some chopped peanuts in a corner. My husband got the double red dragon roll - the spicy tuna in it was just tuna mush. It was supposed to have tempura crispies on top but they must’ve jumped ship on the way from the kitchen to our table. The gentleman delivering the food was completely devoid of personality. If you have any other choice in Thai food, take it. If this little area is the only place in which you have time to eat - I suggest the Waffle House next-door.
The service was excellent and fast. It was a cool facility and it was clean. The food was very yummy. My only complaint is the box dinner was a little pricey. It had a great variety of food, but the portions were small. I would go back though, no doubt about that.
Food is amazing. We love weekly get together here. However, the amazing food doesn't make up for the awful service! There have been times we've been the only ones there and still never get refills. Sadly, bc of the service we've decided to try other places on our weekly friends night out.
Not what I was expecting Concord. Great Thai (pan-asian) place with cool atmosphere. Also have pho and sushi (sushi was not bad). I liked the duck curry.
I’ve ordered a few times to go and this was my first dine in experience. The service and quality of food were great! The lychee martini was by far the best I’ve had in a while.
Amazing food and staff, ambiance was so chill! We will definitely be back, very nice hidden treasure!
Good food. Awful service. they have 3 people manning the front and all the tables. awe were never asked if we needed anything else. I had to go to the sushi bar and ask for saucers myself. The tea was not hot at all. We were served and had to pay for satay and tempura roll which we didn’t order. We ordered 6pc tempura, but because of the slow service, we opted to go with what we had. Other than those things, food was great. We had the satay, tempura roll, crispy salmon something roll, orange chicken, steamed shrimp siomai, fresh spring rolls (which also says it’s served with the peanut sauce but actually it was served with sweet and sour sauce), and panang curry. Service really makes a difference.
Love the food but they need more help! Same two girls working every weekend doing everything which makes for an unenjoyable experience when they are busy.
Didn't have to wait very long for a table for 6 on a Friday evening. Ambiance is very nice. Great decor and setting. We ordered a few dishes to try as everything on the menu was very appealing. Sadly, they do not offer the traditional sticky rice. The food was very flavorful. I especially liked the drunken noodles. It was cooked perfectly with char taste. We got spice level 3 for all of our dishes and felt it was just right. If you're a spicy level, shoot for level 5! We did order sushi with chef choice 5 sashimi. Was disappointed with the choices, I think this could improve with a better variety. All in all, we'll be back to try other dishes.
