Had an amazing experience here. The food was great I can't complain the speed of the service was fast as well. Our server did forget our drink from the bar which was kind of a let down but when we finally did get it it was amazing. Definitely will return when we are in the area again.
Are there better Cajun places - absolutely. Any in the area - I don’t think so. While you won’t find cuisine like you would in Louisiana - this food is flavorful with adequate spice. The apps are great- probably best of the meal. Gator bites are good as are the sausage and rice balls. I absolutely recommend this place. I have two kids that are picky eaters and they loved it! (Surprises me to be honest)
Did not realize that Razzoo’s was a chain in Texas. And this one is the only location in North Carolina on the perimeter of concord mall. The place was decently packed on a weekday. Food had a it of southern touch with many entrees served over rice.. interesting there was an item with alligator meat( my first experience ). Does not have any distinct meat taste or texture, maybe because it had some cajun spices on it. Overall a nice experience, and worth a visit
We went on a Saturday. It was little busy but I believe it was bc Mother's Day is tmw.1st let me say service was great. Brooke was our waitress and she very kind. She made sure to check on us all the time.We had fried pickles, the gator tail appetizer... I was sad when the gator came out looking like calabash shrimp. ?? my friend had blackened chicken pasta. We also tried the crab cakes and they were good.We had shots of 1800. The big worm drink... it says the strongest drink they have and my friend had mango mojito! We will definitely go back!!
This is my first time here in about 10 years. Then I rated it a 5. Now I rated it a 3 because I got the blackened shrimp and catfish plate. There were only 4 shrimp on it. Back in the day when they had all you can eat a single reorder was 6 to 8 shrimp.
We visited midafternoon when restaurant was empty. Service was fair. Young people more interested in visiting with each other but nothing terrible. We had the crawfish fondue for an appetizer because I have that at a restaurant in Texas when I am there and it is to die for. This is not that. Tasty, plenty of crawfish, good toast, but not my thing. We split the Cajun 2 Ways with shrimp étouffée and popcorn shrimp. Both were good. Not great, but good. I love Cajun but this wouldn’t be a regular thing for me if I were in the area.
I loved this place, great food, good prices and portion size, the staff was nice as well, we went on a Saturday night and had about an hour wait so I suggest you go early or late because around 7ish your going to wait a few hours. Definitely will go back when I return to Concord.
Tasty Cajun foods, soup is plentiful-great portion!
Friendly service and good food!!
This place was the absolute best I've ever had and will be back ASAP...Wow the food is FIRE loved it...
