Waited 20 minutes in drive thru with no one in front of us. Cashier was on phone while taking our order and had to re-punch items several times. They forgot our sauces and drinks and by that point we were too hungry and tired of waiting to continue waiting. Half our chicken tender order was nuggets instead. Chicken was also bland and room temperature. Awful first experience and will definitely not be going back.
Sunday, April 17 Concord Pkwy NI sat in line in drive thru for 35 minutes waiting to order. Finally got to windowin to pay & receive my meal, then was told to pull up & wait. I've been waiting now for 30 additional mins...And, if that's not enough, there are 2 cars waiting ahead of me..Just now I see people walking up, knocking on door, go in to order & walk out with his food.Then, a young lady comes out to bring food to a car behind me, I ask her how much longer would I have to wait & she got an attitude because they are short staffed.GET THEM SOME HELP OR SHUT IT DOWN THIS ISUNACCEPTABLE!!!I will say that though the food was good. It wasn't worth the hour plus wait however...
Absolutely worst customer service I have ever seen . Just a thought here about our eating out experience yesterday . Yesterday after an extremely long day our family and a family friends stoped by to grub a bite at a certain restaurant in Concord( popeyes). We walked in . It was no hello , no hi how are you . Nothing . Zero smiles . We had 6 kids and 4 adults (10 people cold and starving ) with us and it was super cold outside . After standing good 3 minutes at the counter . The managers first words were …. My dining room is closed . Not to mention it was another 1.5 hours before this restaurant closed . We said it is really cold outside , we have kids can you make an exemption ? . The answer was no . After that horrible customer service experience we turned around and left . Went across the street and dropped good $140 between our 2 families. I never ever leave bad reviews but this one will be the 1st .The point to this story . Treat people the way you want to be treated . Respect and smile goes a long way . Do not be rude , be nice , talk to people and be humbled . You do not know what other people dealing with . This was extremely ugly unwelcoming experience at Papayas at Concord NC . We will never step foot in any of that specific franchise restaurants again . It is shucking how employees treating guests now days . Zero respect . If the owners of this restaurant ok with employees treating guests that way , they simple do not care . Chairs up , rude faces , rude attitudes and ugly all around ..They lost my business forever .
Usually not a bad place, but no quality control at all. My son's nuggets look like they were fried twice. Ordered fries with both combos, got a box of nuggets and biscuit wrapped in paper; no fries. I asked, "oh, they should be in the other box". I pull forward and look....Nope, so I have to park and go in to let them know what I already stated. Check what you bag, or what you get from the bagger to give to the customer.
Best chicken sandwich out there! I just wish you guys were consistent with the crispiness because I've had some soggy birds that still tasted good don't get me wrong. Will always go to this popeyes given the chance.
Ordered a four piece with thighs. After waiting 10 minutes they Saud they had no thighs. Ordered a sweet tea after they told someone before me they were making it at the time. 15 minutes later after being told they had no thighs. They told me they hadn't started the tea yet.
Worse experience ever! Popeyes is already ghetto! I pulled up to drive through and someone asked me my order and once I have it they never said anything back! I drove around and knocked in the window and beeped just for a very rude employee to come out from behind wherever (not to the window) and hold up 8fimgers to me then disappear! The hours are on the door and internet and both say 10-11!!! Horrible service!!!!
WORST POPEYES STORE EVER!! Poorly trained staff, they make you wait 20 minutes at the drive thru with acknowledgement of your precence; the same goes at the window. They will mess up your order and even miss items you ordered. The saddest thing is, this place has been under new management several times and they "STILL" haven't corrected the problems! I love Popeyes as a whole, but probably won't be going to this particular one again until they clean up their act.
They were out of almost everything that I ordered, even down to the dipping sauce. They had another 2 hours before closing and stated they would not be dropping any more food in spite of the line backed up to the street. I will avoid this location the next time I want Popeye's. I ended up just canceling half of my order.
Ordered 2piece mild with red beans and rice asked if they could just give me the rice w/o the beans and could clearly hear someone in the ear of cashier say "tell her we don't sell it like that"...ok no problem just give me mash no gravy and 3 apply pies. Cashier: that will be 8 minutes for pies Me: ok Cashier: please pull into a parking spot Me: (observing an employee sitting in the locked lobby with a spread of Popeyes chicken on their assumed break) Me: still sitting now 15minutes later see cashier come out with food ....get home and chicken was hours old full of grease and 3 "fresh apple pies" thrown into one box stuck together that appeared to be recooked and burned. oh this is not the end looked at receipt and was charged for mash potatoes w/o gravy ??
