I’ve been going to Mr. C’s for almost 50 years and loved the food and atmosphere but I am watching it decline in customer service tremendously. The register operator charged my card $4 for asking for extra sauce on my wings and didn’t bother to tell me she was charging me at all. We looked at the receipt when we sat down and I was livid when I saw the overcharge. In this economy as bad as it is with inflation and for those who are retired and living on a monthly fixed income find this to be robbery. If you still visit this restaurant at least check your receipts carefully. There’s no telling what these disrespectful teenagers will think is fine you pay for with your hard earned money.
As usual, Mr. C's didn't disappoint! Chicken liver plate with slaw and tater wedges were perfect. My only complaint would be that the flour the livers and chicken are dredged in be a little more flavored but all in all it was great! I also try to take out of town visitors to experience Mr. C's because it's such a local institution!!
The Chicken was amazing, the tater wedges was the BOOM….Service was fast and friendly..!! Been eating here for over 30 years..!! Great Prices and Food..!!

There are 3 “go tos” when I visit there. 1 calabash shrimp, 2 Greek salad 3 mr cs burger. The calabash shrimp is always fresh and affordable —a better buy than the local regional seafood joint down the street. If I’m wanting something light the Greek salad is the best. And don’t forget the burger— you won’t miss with it. Definitely will give the neighboring burger joints a run for the money. AND the drive through is always efficient and moves swiftly—note any negative reviews are either getting the location wrong or pre- or -mid pandemic when everyone was struggling to adjust. As of the last few visits for me (at Concord) they move as fast as the local Closed-on-Sunday chicken place up the street
First and foremost before I give insight on how the food was. I will start off by saying the presentation was very pretty and the service was fast! Between the wings and the cheesecake wellllll let's say that the wings were definitely soggy and the breading was terrible. The cheesecake didn't have any crust at the bottom and the cherries were soggy as well. The pickles were amazing and the burger was as well. The homemade ranch definitely was a favorite. They're definitely great on presentation but the food could've been different especially for the price.... Wishing I could've given more stars but unfortunately I'm very honest and like to be helpful.... Can't say we'll be back again and I hope that they'll do better in the future.
Waited 25 minutes on two burgers and after asking and waiting another 10 minutes we got our food that was packed to go and everything was cold. Then the manager acted like he didn’t want to refund my money back but he did. Very poor management
I always order the fish and it never disappoints. Food is good and portion size is great. The only complaint I have is the condiments. If you order a 1 piece kids meal you get one small tartar sauce and if you order a 3 PC fish meal you still only get a small tartar sauce. Give atleat 2 tartar with 3 piece meal and charge extra for anything more than that.
The chicken is good, but was way too crispy the last time I went. The potato wedges were pretty greasy and mushy as well. Every other time I have gone though I did not have this experience. They are usually pretty busy most nights but I never have a very long wait. Prices are very fair for the portions you get. I would highly recommend.
This was my first time ordering from here via Uber Eats. I ordered the chicken and ham and cheese salad which was amazing. Everything was so fresh. They also followed my special instructions for extra dressing which a lot of restaurants don’t do. The packaging was also great . My food arrived intact and not all over the place. I will order again. Maybe even dine in next time if possible.
