This is an absolute amazing place with an incredible atmosphere and guess what? We haven't even hung out there yet. We are planning to this weekend. Owner Ryan during the day at set up time took the time out of his schedule and gave us a tour and just a warm welcome that no person could ever forget. This place has given light to a city that deserves it and needs it. I recommend you all check the schedule and go there to eat decadent food, drink exquisite drinks and vibe the vibes of any evening.
for the most part a very chill place great ambience great Jazz music however the Appetizers are non existing they need to work on the food menu ASAP people love to snack and drink

Tonight was our first time at Kodiak Cocktail Bar. The vibes, drinks & the desserts were great! Michelle was a phenomenal server & was great conversation & easy going. The Bow & Arrow and the Old Chaimer we’re our favorites of the night. We can’t wait to go back!
Fabulous night out with the girls and ended up having the limo take us to KODIAK!!! Not disappointed- we came back today. The cocktails and mocktails both were delicious but what really made the evening was the Live Music/Band that was here. STINE'S SUNDAY SOLACE is the place to come and vibe. We celebrated my sister's birthday & our newest member of our ladies collective. Poets and Poetry go well with Live Music... we danced and laughed and enjoyed Liam the bartender. As someone who doesn't drink anymore I found the mocktail light and refreshing. Check the pics for the awesome time. I called my mocktail The Rose.From the limo to the Kodiak... we had a ball.
The service was very slow. We made a reservation at 10pm and were placed near the window. First of all the seating is far apart and perfect if your doing a job interview but as far as a date probably not. Next a drunk woman stood outside the window crying it was very uncomfortable. AMBIANCE was fine except the organization of the bar was terrible. All the supplies are skewed across the counter. Not a single shelf or organization system. It felt like we were at a house party. Not very romantic and honestly the drinks weren’t anything special not for the price. I prefer idewild cocktail bar in Charlotte by far!
They have added some very tasty tapas , sandwiches . The cocktail are very hip and delicious . I went with friends to the open mic night . Very pleasant atmosphere .
We’ve been to Kodiak several times now and have enjoyed every experience. They recently opened the other half of their beautiful space and rolled out a new delicious seasonal drink menu.Modern, chill, and intimate. And we love that it’s so close to home!

The idea is a good one...a place to have drinks with another couple or for a cozy date. However, the live music was so loud it was very hard to have a conversation. The tables are so small, we had to ask our server to take the decorative items away just to accommodate our order of 4 drinks + a small charcuterie board. With a few tweaks, this could be a great local date spot that isn't sports/barcade focused.
