Holy smokes, batman. Huge menu. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. Tobasco Honey Chicken was delicious. Ask for extra sauce to dip, and know that the chicken is ~2x the size of the bun. No onions in the broccoli casserole (thumbs up!), yummy mac 'n cheese, fun and flavorful baby potatoes. We'll surely be back. Hostess was a love and the waiter, Jake, was outstanding. 10/10 all of the way around.
A family member recommended this place and I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was definitely pleasantly surprised and plan to return again to try some other menu items.Our party of 6 arrived late morning on Father's Day without a reservation. We were quickly seated after a minimal wait. Our server came to our table promptly and continued to check on us frequently throughout our meal.All of our food was delicious. They were able to accommodate my son's gluten free diet. The only issue we had was that our meals did not all come out at once. My mom's meal never came out at all. When she spoke to our server, she asked for something completely different and that came out quickly. Our server assured us that her meal would be taken care of completely (which it was) due to the issue.Other than that, it was a great experience. After we finished eating, we sat and talked. Nobody ever made us feel rushed to leave even though the restaurant was getting busier.The next time we visit, I plan to try one of the many delicious desserts they sell.
Woo-hoo, loved it! First time at the Concord address. Just as excellent as the Mooresville one. No wait for a table, server was excellent and food came fast. Recommend!
My 5 year old can't get enough o their friend shrimp, and they have a wonderful dessert line of cakes. Absolutely delicious and family friendly.
Called to plce my order at 5pm, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later was still waiting. Orders were piled up in the back, and no one looked like they knew what they were doing.Get my food home, and as I had ordered a side of broccoli & cheese, my Country Style Steak’s gravy was all in it! Not the first time we have had this problem with them.
Someone recommended this place said it was real good we went out the picture that you see is a combination plate of cod and shrimp with the T it was over $20 there's about seven french fries six shrimp two small pieces of cod does fried squash some of it you could call potato chips they were so thin my wife ordered cabbage with hers and she did not even get it until after she was done eating they had no excuses the service was lousy I didn't the lady at the checkout ask was there any problems because you do not dare send stuff back to restaurants because you don't know what happens back there in the back we will never ever go to this place again
Our salesman at a local rug store recommended this restaurant. Boy, was he WRONG! We can't say one positive thing about this establishment. There are NO pros, just cons. Place was very dirty, no clean silverware was available to eat our meals (we were given plastic ones instead, food was way overpriced for what you get, tasted like it came from a cafeteria, waitress was slow and really sick (which in turn made us sick the next day), wait time for our meal was over 45 minutes and they weren't even that busy. Everyone around us was frustrated and upset as well.
My husband and I decided to call in our order in the way home from church Sunday night. I called and I “think” I heard Concord, but not sure and nothing else. When I said I wanted to place an order she ask me to hold. We were already on the way, so I held. We get there and I was still on hold. According to my phone, I was on hold for 8.5 minutes. When I walked in (still on hold), the young lady asked if she could help me. There were 4 others just standing or sitting around. I laugh and said yes and said I was on hold to place an order for about 8.5 minutes. She never acknowledged I said anything and proceeded to ask me what I wanted to order. While waiting on my order, the kids continued to stand around talking using expletives. The food is great. But, call in service, below average.
Last night was our first visit to this restaurant and it will probably be the only visit. Upon walking in, no one greeted us. There were a group of workers within eyesight just standing around and talking. The "hostess" walked from the checkout (which is right next to the main entrance/exit) over to the group before realizing we were there. After finally being seated, we waited 10 minutes before our server even came to the table to inform us that she would be with us shortly. We waited so long that even as first time visitors, we had already chosen our orders. Again, there were about 5 other workers just beside our table chatting and hanging out. I saw only about 3 servers actually working. Finally, our server came over and took our drink and food orders. Afterwards, the server went over to some of the other servers and was talking. Then she came back and started clearing the table behind us. We finally had to ask her to bring us our drinks as we were now 30 minutes in with only silverware on our table. Shortly after that, our food came. The food was the only saving grace of our dining experience. However, the menu said my shrimp were to come with either cocktail or tartar sauce and I received neither. I had to call the server over and ask for it. When my mom pulled her fork out of the silverware bag, it was dirty with food particles still stuck on. She had to get up and go to our server to request a new one as our server never stopped to check on us. She was too busy cleaning her section. Now we arrived and hour and 30 minutes before closing, so I am not sure why it was so important that the cleaning process was more important than serving our table. IF, and that's a big IF, we ever eat here again, it will be takeout only.
Tonight I went to Johnny's a place I always eat at. This was such a disappointment. The place was not clean, the food was overcooked. This is the first time I have ever experienced these issues. I have been a regular for awhile. I have always enjoyed the meals and atmosphere. Tonight not so much. I know they can do better. I hope the next time I dine there it will be in a clean dinning room and the food will be cooked with care.
