real NY style Italian. you can smell the fresh bread and garlic as soon as you open the door. the food is spot on.

My daughter wanted to have dinner at a pizza restaurant to celebrate her birthday . We chose this restaurant. We asked to be seated outside & we were seated outside. My family of three were the only ones outside dining . We ordered our food . As we we’re waiting for our food to arrive . A strange gentleman comes sits outside pretending to be minding his own business. He ordered no food, no menu only a beer he was drinking. We payed him no mind. As soon as we payed the bill he left his table. Leading us to believe we were PROFILED. This was my first time visiting this establishment since I do not live in the area, but if I am ever in this area again I will not return. I found this place because of a Google search and after reading their reviews which were 4/5 I decided to give it a try. First, the server acted as if my presence was an inconvenience to her and she had a very non chalant attitude which was poor customer service in my opinion.Second, the pizza is very over priced as we paid $37 and some change for two medium pizzas. Third, all though the pizza was hot when we received it, the crust has no flavor at all it was like chewing a cardboard box with toppings. Also, I thought a Brooklyn style pizza was supposed to be thin, well this pizza was a little on the thick side. To make a long story short save your money and time by going to another pizza chain.
I had a challenging order. I had a pizza requested without cheese which is atypical. I also know that when making pizza, people have a pattern they follow. So, a medium pizza with cheese may call for a full ladle of sauce which is plenty assuming there’s going to be cheese and other toppings. If you use the same ladle and have no cheese… you end up with the equivalent to bread with dry red stuff lightly baked into the dough. I kinda get it… it’s difficult to re-train the usual motion and serving amount.Next.. the toppings. I believe the toppings were over $2 each. We received a few shavings of each. The margarita pizza we ordered had the same (almost non-existent amount of sauce) and the tiniest amounts of remaining ingredients.Honestly, I’ve been trying to sell my wife on trying your place really hardcore since she had a bad experience previously. Well…. This one pretty much killed it for the whole family.I don’t know… maybe it’s because I only tipped 15% for an order I picked up. I don’t really want to think that though. I’m assuming the people behind the counter didn’t really pay attention to what they were making.

Great service. Fantastic staff. Food is undeniably the best I've had in a long long time. They take the time to learn your name and inevitably make you a repeat customer with such fantastic service. This is my favorite place and will continue to be my go to spot.
Service is good, friendly. Food tasted good but not quite as warm as it should be. Spaghetti was way over cooked. I would try it again

I travel the country and I get back to Concord a few times a year. This is a must stop before I leave. If you are looking for the best place in town this is it. Authentic NY Italian food everything on the menu is great. Try the spaghetti or lasagna but the pizza is just as good.
