Phenomenal chefs, friendly staff, and amazing food! I’ve been dining here for 20 years since high school. Best Japanese in NC!

great food fast service the chef that prepared our food was super talented!

Great place to eat! Love this place !

As a first time patron to this restaurant I had good expectations as it had always been recommended with great feedback. However, on this particular evening we had a very large party which I am fully aware is quite difficult to seat quickly; however, a member of our party called ahead to see about reservations and was told to call back at 7p for an arrival time at 745p, so a member of our party was there at 650p to do as previously instructed and was told it would be an hour wait, again a large party waiting is understood. All of our party was present and we weren't called to be seated until closer to 9p; while in the midst of trying to all get to the table again a very large party (25 total) one of the party members was standing in front of the kitchen door as he was trying to get to the table. Instead of the outcoming server looking through the window to ensure it was clear the server busted through the door hitting the gentleman standing there subsequently dropping the tray of food, no apology to the gentleman that was hit, instead the server and manager was speaking of the incident amongst themselves and it was overheard they were insinuating it was the guests fault. There were many other issues amongst this experience; management did a very poor job of handling the situations. This late in the evening we were one of the last in the restaurant, and our service was terrible. The server was pleasant however, I had to ask for my salad twice as the rest of the table had already received theirs; never got the water I asked for, therefore ate my meal with nothing to drink. The chef was entertaining and the food was cooked well. If you are dining with a small party, this restaurant might be ok, would not recommend for large parties. Based on the customer service we received I will not visit this establishment again unfortunately.

We're usually pleased with our hibachi meals. It's nothing spectacular, but will go with a group. Easily accommodates larger groups.

We were quickly seated and our food adventure began. Very nice restaurant, our waitress did an excellent job. Food was perfectly prepared and taste it extremely well.

While visiting a relative at a nearby hospital we decided to have dinner at this location after the evening visiting hours at the ICU. We were fortunate. We walked in without a reservation and were immediately seated a the last two places at one of the eight seat cook-top/tables. We had a very entertaining cook, and efficient assistants. The food was very good with quite large portions. Good thing our motel room had a fridge. We had left overs the next day. We would defiantly return if ever back in Concord!

Just wasted $69.00 on 3 take out meals. First of all, know they do not have sweet carrots — a staple of any Japanese restaurant. I ordered one hibachi scallops entree and two filet mignon entrees. They came with a salty broth with 2 slices of mushroom and a few bits of green onion in it, along with a salad of just lettuce and a few shredded carrots ( I guess they have enough carrots to put some shredded ones in the salads). The entrees came with a pile of rice, some plain lo mein noodles (two starches?), the protein, some mixed vegetables, and 2 shrimp as an “appetizer”. I was horrified when I saw that the shrimp they included with the entrees had not been deveined. In other words, the intestines of the shrimp were still there! My God! When I called to ask where the carrots were, I was told they only have carrots at their express locations. This makes no sense whatsoever. Between the missing carrots and the uncleaned shrimp, I will not be eating here again. Ever.

Ate here for lunch and received awesome service and great good. Our server/cook tossed us each a "ball" of rice to see if we could catch it in our mouths. It was fun and entertaining to do this.
