My husband and I have had lunch/dinner at Golden Corral many times but today was the first time since the renovation. We really liked the remodel. It seems more spacious and cleaner, but we were so very impressed with the quality of the food. It has always been good but today everything was excellent! Our compliments to the chef so to speak. Thank you for the changes. We will return.
Since they've gotten a new owner, the food has been amazing. I go for lunch once a week (my husband made me cut back) and I get the fried fish and chicken. Both are seasoned so well and the chicken is crunchy and moist. I usually get vegetables as well, but I switch that up weekly. Always seating available and staff is super friendly, never letting your cup or drink go empty.
Worst experience here ever, very rude staff, asked the guy behind the salad bar for items and he but our heads off with a stern no, buffet had old dried out food, not many items stocked, the man on the grill was also rude asked for a piece of steak and he rolled his eyes and almost tossed the piece of meat at my try, went and spoke to a manager and addressed our concerns and all he could say was “ uhhh well I’m sorry” we paid $14.99 a piece, 6 people 1 child was $119.21 and for it to be a buffet we only ate once because of the lack of fresh food available, desert bar lacked as well we were there shortly after dark and when we asked the server if she was gonna refill the banana pudding she shrugged her shoulders, looked at her watch and said yea I guess,Manager came around little later with a piece of steak and said here this is fresh, but as I went for desert the grill cook was making faces at me being smart, never been treated so badly there! We prolly won’t return to that location again
Food is good when you go earlier and their methods for blocking off certain areas is confusing. We went and selected a table that was large enough for our family but not right next to any other family. We were asked to relocate. There needs to be a more clear way to designate available areas.
I haven't gone to Golden corral in 2 years because the quality of food sucked. The hub said they've done better. I reluctantly went and was surprised that things were delicious. It lost a star because our server was one for a whole.section and I kept waiting on refills.
Renovated nicely, some better variety of foods. Ice cream machine wasn't working, and the rest of the desserts did not look appetizing. Our server was good. Place was clean
Rude staff. Business was not open on time. When the person unlocked the door they didn't even hold the door open for the guest that had arrived and were waiting. One person was in a child in a wheelchair. I believe she may have been the manager. Her name said Debra on the receipt. Either way I won't be visiting again.
Nice nice...I had several waitresses... good team work
It's OK, steaks leave a lot to desired. Chicken and dumpling are not bad. Fried chicken is awesome!!
The food is always good… I definitely love their fried chicken.
