My food experience was really good. They made my coworkers and I food correctly with just a minor missing item such as pickles and dipping sauce. However, the service was really off/bad. I called multiple times to place my to go order which the front desk person keep transferring me to the bar to place my order but nobody would answer. I believe they have a caller id, since they wouldn't answer my phone when I called again. It took my coworker to call and refuse to be transfer to the bar in order to put in our order. Then once I got there the order wasn't ready, even though I waited 20 mins before I left work and the lady who is helping her customer seems stress. Then later a guy came out with my bag (without taking my card for payment) and the wrong food for a table. I stay there till he was ready to take my card for payment when I could've easy left with the bag of food. All this could've been avoided if they had more staff or somebody to help that one lady in the bar area. The bar area was full so help that lady out.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on a Friday night. Expectations weren't high to get a seat right away since it was the weekend. There was plenty of seating but we chose to sit in the bar area. The bartender was waiting on the whole area and making drinks so after 10-15 minutes we went back to the hostess area and asked to be seated in the restaurant. Service was immediate there and the food was quick and delicious. Nice outdoor seating but too windy that evening to sit outside.
We had a Baby Shower at Afton Tavern, the food was delicious, the staff and our waitress Beth, could not have been any nicer. We all had a lovely time! Highly recommend!!
Went for lunch. The service was horrible. It was not even during a busy time. We sat outside in view of so many tables around us left with dirty dishes for a long time. Paper products flying all over the ground. Literally 5 tubs, that I could see within my view, were overflowing with dirty dishes and placed on the brick wall around the eating area. 3 people could be seen standing at the welcome desk eating pizza???? When our waitress finally showed up she came out the door licking her fingers. ( eating pizza also???) My daughter’s drink was refilled but not mine. We had every intention of ordering a dessert but the waitress didn’t return for another 45 mins. We waited for a take home box, our ticket, and even longer for my credit card to be returned. What was meant for an hour -ish lunch took over 3 hours. It was not a pleasant lunch.
We just left Afton Ridge. Sat in the bar area expecting faster seating and service. It took almost 90 minutes before food arrived and my fish and chips was cold. Afraid to send back since I really didn’t want to wait any longer. There is no excuse just poor management.
Our 1st time eating here Erin the waiter was very nice. My sandwich & salad was really good the mash potatoes was nasty. My friend said his chicken & dumplings was good, a big portion of fish for the fish & chips had to send the fries back bc they was cold.
A very nice place to go with friends or significant other. Good beer selection and delicious food! Sitting outside was nice and service was good. Prices were on par with other restaurants in the area. Serving sizes were a little bit on the smaller side but overall it's a great place to eat!
Been here more than a few times. The kicking chicken sandwich it is the truth! Messy but very good! Get yer napkins ready! Ranch dressing and fries are good here too. Broccoli as a side is pretty good. My wife got this sandwich grilled tonight instead of fries and she said it too was Great!Kids meals are good too in particular the chicken tenders. Kids day is Mon too.I have had the club sandwich it too is good. But not as excellent as the kicking chicken.
I had dinner on a Sunday evening & I must say I really enjoyed myself. I ordered a drink which was slightly watered down & the manager Ms. Lee remade it. She's a very vibrant & sweet woman who checked on us regularly. Our waitress Sierra was also very nice & made honest recommendations off the menu. Nice place for a quick bite.
