First time going here it has a City Dine in feel inside. Very comfortable upscale feel. My kids loved the Fried Mac N Cheese. I can't express my love for the Roasted Butternut Bisque. Just out of this world heaven. I rarely bother getting any desserts but I gave the family to try something new. So I ordered 3 desserts, Banana Cheese Cake, Key Lime Pie and a Creme Brulee. All 3 are simply amazing!!!. I will definitely be returning!
It’s a hit or miss place with food and service. We have tried them out several times. Most recently, they advertise and charge accordingly for hand cut french fries and then present Ore-Ida from the bag and hope no one says anything. Two stars because management saw issue and took item off bill, but never even came to table. They didn’t lose customers until the bartender/waitress made a snide remark, and then had to watch me put her cash tip (even though I owed $0 because I couldn’t get passed the appetizer) back in my purse. Just because we didn’t like the food and decided to go elsewhere, she deserved something for what she did do. She ruined that with her mouth. This was my very 1st time coming here and I live in Clayton and I'm in love with this place...THE FOOD AND DRINKS WAS GREAT, AND ALONG WITH THE SERVICE!!!! ? it was really nice atmosphere also?
We've eaten here twice and each time the food has been delicious!!! We've tried a different dish each time along with appetizers and dessert. Everything was great, nothing bad. Service has been efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is very modern and comfortable. Only negative was it seemed very chilly inside on the second visit since the weather turned cold. Pricing is reasonable but not inexpensive. We definitely will keep frequenting this establishment and highly recommend it.
Their menu is amazing from their appetizers to the main entrees and their wine list 1st class restaurant with reasonable prices. It is a must visit restaurant if you enjoy eating out.

Thank you so much to the Skyline Café owner and staff. I live out of state. My cousin and her family live in Clayton. My cousin's husband unexpectedly passed away. I reached out to the owner to have meals prepared for her and her two girls. The feedback from them was that they could genuinely feel the love put into their meal. It was the only meal my cousin was able to eat and keep down in her time of grief. I just want to extend my thanks to you all. We ordered takeout. Container was of adequate size but portion control needs to be better. Not enough food.

Always has been the best place to eat off hwy 70 in Clayton and Smithfield. I don’t remember a dish on the menu we have not liked. Always great service and the best food around.
