The food is so delicious. The salmon BLT.... YUMMY!! & the hot honey bacon dressing and the balsamic dressing is my favorite. I love this place and that the ingredients are local.
Not worth the price, very below mid. The quality of ingredients on the burgers is really disappointing. Lettuce and onions taste (and feel) like plastic. They seem more decorative than edible; and the burger itself is not very flavorful. The buns are sort of stale. Fries are not flavorful and pretty dried out. I'm sure the bar aspect is nice but the quality of food for the price is just really really unfortunate.
Waited 35 mins for the waitress to tell me they’re out of the steak for the Philly that I ordered and it would only take 2 minutes for the chicken to cook (awful short amount of time to cook chicken). My food came out and it was not even close to being warm. There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant at the time I ordered.
This was a first visit for us. We had out of town guests visiting celebrating mutual birthdays. Our server was very good. She was friendly, attentive and kept our drinks filled. She had a great working knowledge of the menu. We had the fried pickles with smoky ranch. Our friends enjoyed the loaded fries. It was topped with a fried egg. We were there for a Saturday lunch around 11:30. My husband had the Stella Burger with fresh cut fries & I had the Shrimp and Grits with bacon and scallions. The restaurant was not busy. Our appetizers arrived in a timely manner, but our entrees took a much longer time. We didn’t mind because we were chatting and nibbling on the appetizers. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Stella Burger topped with caramelized onions and blue cheese. While I enjoyed my Shrimp & Grits, it wasn’t hot , but a like warm. The grits were too thick and not as creamy as they should be. It could have been that my entrée had cooled too much. It was tasty, but could have used something to cut the richness. Our friends enjoyed both their Salmon BLT and Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese. We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return. I gave the review 4 stars because of the long wait and my disappointment in the the lukewarm Shrimp & Grits.
I'm not fussy, but this place was bad. I was there on a Saturday night and ordered the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and greens. The salmon was okay, nothing great.The mashed potatoes were cold and way too stiff like no butter or milk had been added when they were fixed. They were redskin potatoes with the skins on, which I love, but I only ate a few bites. The greens were so salty I also only had a couple of bites.I got there at 7:30 and the sign said they were open to 10.00. At 8:15 they started putting chairs up on the tables, not just in different sections, but right next to me. On my way out I passed by the mop bucket and looked inside - I wish I hadn't as the water was a filthy dark brown. I won't be back.
Love this place! They have really improved and I am impressed. Love the bartenders and staff. The salmon dish is great ?. Great atmosphere.
I came in Tuesday morning with my husband and Kelly was incredible! It was pretty busy but she was very attentive. She made excellent drinks. Food was delicious! We will be back!
The cheese burger was on the small side, but those garlic parmesan fries and everything else was amazing!
Came in a week ago with my husband to order burgers. Our server Alexis was very attentive and very sweet! She gave us some awesome recommendations based on her personal favorites. I will only EVER request her. The other servers need some SERIOUS training. Will NOT come back AGAIN.
This is the first time ever going to simple twist was the worst experience ever, we've gone to the one on 40 in Clayton and the one in Smithfield never EVER had a bad experience. We just moved into the Riverwood community and decided let's try this one and I will say never again. The salmon was extremely over cooked the rice was dry and my daughter's burger was less then desirable on top of that we pre ordered dinner for a family member that was home and they forgot it and had to wait even longer. First and last time here
