First time trying Nina's, but we will be back. Our Waitress Theresa was great! Was on top of everything she needed to be. Food was reasonably priced as well everything we ordered had great flavor. My husband had Steak Sinatra, was cooked perfectly and it had great taste. I had chicken marsala and it was really good. We shared the mussels and huge portions with great flavor. I did get a chocolate cake for dessert but was to full to eat it, so I brought it home. Looks delicious, but I am still to full to eat it. Look forward to our next trip to Nina's.Nice clean atmosphere as well!
Hubby and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, as all others had 55 minute waits. So glad we did. We had Calamari as our appetizer and it was delicious. Definitely fresh, not frozen. I had Penne ala Vodka w/ grilled shrimp and he had Stuffed flounder for dinner. Both dinners were amazing!!! Let me say everything here is made fresh to order. Homemade sauces and real potatoes!!! Everything was clean. Flowers on the tables were fresh and the water in the vase was clean. Salt and pepper shakers were clean as well. We will definitely be going here again.
We went there for the first time for lunch. Our son ordered the wings which were delicious. They came out hot and crispy. My wife ordered the chicken panini and had nothing bad to say about it. I ordered the reuben. The corned beef is cured in house and was very tender with a great amount of sauerkraut on rye. Definitely the best reuben I have had in NC since we moved here! The fresh cut fries were also fantastic. We will definitely be back again!
As a realtor I eat on the road with clients frequently. What a treat it was to bring my client here. Yummy muscles in herbed white wine sauce is one of my favs & Nina’s in Downtown Clayton is a treat in Johnston County. They offer live music during the evening- check their Facebook or website for times & musicians. Full bar and good food make this a great way to spend lunch or a fun dinner date.
Went for brunch but ended up getting an entree from the dinner menu. I have had the Chicken francaise multiple times here and it is absolutely delicious!
This place is the cutest and quaintest. Our waitress was simply delightful. And they had a precious older couple singing live music, and they were the ultimate lounge singers. But I think my biggest and best surprise was just how good the food was. A friend and I both agreed we would gladly go back for more!
Had our first experience at this restaurant over the weekend. Unfortunately they were severely understaffed, only one waitress (who was very sweet!) for the whole restaurant. She had to play hostess, waitress, bartender, etc. So the slow service was to be expected and we understood. However the food was mediocre at best and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We also felt that it was overpriced and we left without any plans to return.
Theresa and Jeanie are the most delightful servers!! Always make you feel warm and welcome!
It was very clean and quiet. The food was good and Theresa was a very nice.
Well meatballs were homemade but tasted a bit more like frozen prepared rubber balls. Bruschetta toast for $ 8.99 was ok but way overpriced for 4 tiny pieces of toast. No music or sound on tv. Was boring. Dont think ill return
