Fresh sushi nice atmosphere reasonably priced at $15 full sushi roll plus some added shrimp. Love it!
Food is always delicious, I just wish they would put a sticker on the container for to go and delivery orders. This way, we know that no one has tampered with our food.
Poke bowl and burritos are excellent choices here. I enjoy the build your own poke bowl and the tofu burrito roll. You get a lot for the price and quality especially at Optimist Hall. Well crafted with fresh ingredients!
Genuinely disappointed by how much this costs and how little you get. Paid what could have amounted to a very nice sit down sushi meal for a very sad tiny sushi burrito with measly fillings and a small poke bowl that was almost entirely lettuce. I normally get a sushi burrito other places for less and they are huge and i can eat half and be full. I am pretty small and dont eat much and yet i ate this whole thing and was still hungry. My partner was very disappointed in the poke bowl and we both felt dumb for trying this place just because it seemed like a neat location. Its just an overly crowded over hyped up hipster place. Wasnt even a weekend and couldn't find anywhere to sit. Loud and miserably packed. The customer service was also very cold and unwelcoming. Left feeling full of regret
My hunt is over. I moved to Charlotte, NC from San Diego, CA one year ago and had to leave behind my favorite poke bowl place in the process. Sushi, sashimi, and all the creativity tasty raw fish inspires — suddenly I was on the prowl for my new favorite place in a brand new city. I can proudly declare on November 7, 2021 in Optimist Hall, I found it: Zukku. It was love at first sight. The first bite into a delicious piece of fresh ahi tuna was like being reunited with an old friend. I can rest easy knowing that my insatiable, unholy cravings for poke bowls will be satisfied in the future, and I look forward to trying their sushi burritos.
Amazing sushi! If you love sushi, go! We got the Cream Cheese Bagel and the Optimist roll. The text you when your order is ready so you can wander around or find a table while waiting.
I never have ordered Succhi but my son and wife did and let me sample the Tempura cream cheese bagel. I was pleasantly surprised!! Very tasty!!
I had the tempura bagel sushi roll and it was A-MAZING! I normally don’t leave Google reviews but Zukku Sushi deserved it. If you want to send your taste buds on a savory ride of warm, flaky, flavorful goodness, go to Zukku. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was ok, but that's the end of the positives. Portions were very small - we left there hungry. Also way overpriced given the portion size. When I spend $40 on lunch for 2 people I expect to at least be full. Lastly, there was a paltry amount of sushi in my poke bowl. Don't waste your money here
