The food was delicious however they need to update the prices on their menu but if you want good African food this is the place to go
I’m not one to leave reviews but as a Liberian I had to. I’ve had some bad experiences with Zowee’s but this was by far the worst. I got fufu and soup and the soup was 90% salt. They only put chicken and turkey in their food and no other meats as if they’re trying to save money. Most of the people leaving good reviews aren’t even African so they don’t know what the food is actually suppose to taste like…no offense to them. Also the girl who works at the counter is extremely rude and ignores the customers. They never answer their phone. I have absolutely no clue how they’re in business. People are going to think that’s how we (Liberians) make our food and it’s not.
I went to Zoewee's many times and always ordered the fish combo only I don't like bones at all on any type of meat, the rice tasted very authentic and plantains were fruity tasty like vitamin c.
Horrible Customer Service. They never answer their phone. The Food has gotten worse. The last Fufu & Soup I bought there was extremely salty. Plus the barely give you any meat. I’d recommend you to try other places in Charlotte.
Get the potato greens! You wont be disappointed. We travel from SC just for the greens! Very reasonable prices and good portion size.

Casavaleaf was great but the palm butter and foo foo out of this world good food good price definitely was worth the drive from Matthews
The only thing may be portion size. I Rate restaurant all over Charlotte NC and I never ever give high scores for no reasons. The Potatoes greens are really good.
