The woman working at the register was incredibly friendly and helpful. Every other employee I saw was relaxed and happy (by relaxed I mean approachable and in a good mood) - they genuinely looked like they enjoyed being there. The food was great. The inside was very clean. It was a very welcoming environment the employees created. If management/ownership sees this, please let your employees know their performance is noticed, appreciated and respected.
This is the worst Zaxby's location ever. I came here a few years ago in 2019 and the service was horrendous for dine in. Super slow and out of nearly every beverage. I hadn't been back since but decided to give it a try again. Nope, still super slow service with a line out on the street for the drive thru. The cashier didn't even ask to take my order, it was just radio silence until I spoke. The chicken fingers were super small for the chicken fingerz plate (4). They were out of lemonade and cole slaw. Chicken fingers didn't taste that great and the sweet tea that was iced tasted warm. Definitely won't be returning to this location. Save your time and money y'all.
This place always has a line in the street. Not because they have great food but they are extremely slow. I have been in line for 30 minutes (keeping a promise), they literally take one order at a time.It’s awful
I don't know who designed the parking lot of this location but they had no sense. The drive thru only holds 4 cars maybe before spilling onto a busy shopping center road and blocking traffic. It is awful. The line is ridiculously slow. Waited for 40 minutes just to leave the line as only 2 people had been served. I don't know why these Charlotte locations are so awful.and usually their soda machines are out of syrup.
Do not come inside if you are in a hurry. They have one person at the register and is responsible for bagging the food. We saw order after order go out with no one else in front of us in the restaurant. It took us over 10 minutes to order and we have been waiting over 15 minutes for our food. You need to put as much emphasis on your inside patrons as you do at the drive thru. You should have a timer running there as well. We would have been gone 15 minutes ago if we were able to fit thru your Drivethru with our van. This is second bad experience we have had at this restaurant.
Lady taking orders was very kind and knew how to serve but that’s about all I can say positively about this place. Some of the genuinely saddest service I’ve ever witnessed. Takes them 19 minutes to serve one person in drive thru. Takes DoorDashers forever to get food. No excuse to take longer than 10 minutes. Grow up and fix your store.
This drive thru makes absolutely no sense. It's so slow. Cars can't move forward until the person ahead of you has gotten their food and paid. You don't drive to the order box but to the person stationed out front, which cuts off the distance and backs cars out to the traffic. It's awful.
Should have just ordered from Outback. Got a Cobb salad with no eggs or bacon, very little chicken. Ordered a 10 piece of fingers and received 2 sauces. Drink was incorrect and had to double back because I didn’t get my credit card back…. The cashier didn’t give it back… no receipt either, and after waiting 45 minutes for fast food you would think the service would at least be better. Next time I get a craving for zaxby’s I’ll go to the one in Concord. This one is on life support.
This is literally the slowest location. I was fine with it until now. I went in around 2:40 ish only for them to stop taking orders. The short stubby lady with short hair then tells me I have to get to the back of the line when I had been waiting in the line that was already there. She should’ve gotten her a$$ back there to help the one cook instead of bossing the 1 cashier around. I’ll make the effort to go to the concord location from now on because today was just ridiculous. This location is so inconvenient.
They need to find a way to stream line ordering or pickup. The staff are friendly and nice don't get me wrong but I shouldn't have to wait 87 minutes for a zac snack box and some fries. What made it honestly worse is that my meal had been sitting there the entire time but no one knows how to coordinate with each other and I can't hop behind the counter and grab it myself.
