Located on the outskirts of Uptown Charlotte, this is one of the tastiest Japanese restaurants we’ve discovered thus far. We did not make a reservation, which was no problem with outdoor seating available. We did notice that it was crowded and hectic inside, so the scenic outdoor felt like a better option anyways.On this trip, we tried the Chicken teriyaki which was actually fantastic: vegetables were fresh, the Chicken was so juicy, Teriyaki sauce was extremely brothy, warm soothing comforting, easy meal. Overall the food was awesome. We highly suggest this meal if you decide to stop by.
This place is right next to my job and they all rave about it but it’s not open during lunch hours. So I had to try it after work with my husband. We got here about an hour after they opened we were seated right away and my husband wanted to sit out side. The umbrellas helps block the sun but we still got fried but that’s our fault lol. Our waiter Bobby was so helpful he gave us suggestions and was very attentive. Everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and nice. Everything we had was fresh and cooked to order. I will continue to make this place one of my regular spots.
The sushi here was delicious. The vibes were also nice… think “modern sushi bar” house music, modern decor, and great food. The only downside was the bar service could’ve been improved. I was never formally greeted although there were 3 staff behind the bar, it took some time to order, and plates remained on the bar well after they were done with. Good food, good vibes, nice restaurant, but staff could be improved. 4 stars.
Food was great, loved the variation between all rolls, which are also all reasonably priced. Staff are super nice and vibes are good. Coming from NYC area, probably our fav sushi spots in general, definitely in Charlotte. Always crowded for this reason, so will have to wait 30mins - 1 hr on prime nights to be seated, but still worth it.
Everything comes out well presented, yummy, and at a great price. The ingredients are fresh and the cuts are generous. Staff are friendly and professional. Consistently wonderful date spot for a ramen or sushi indulgence.

Party of three. Seated right away at 12:15 on a Saturday. We enjoyed a very nice lunch. The service was excellent. We ordered a variety of appetizers - about half of them. Also, we ordered several rolls that were all fresh and tasty.

Food is average, service average, restroom is among the most poorly designed to be functioning during pandemic. Fresh paper towels are touching the trash
