Food is good, tasty and plentiful BUT YOU’RE KILLING YOUR FRONT LINE STAFF. Went tonight around 7, waited in the long line that’s always been the norm but now made worse by all the online orders. The staff on that front line were filling orders from walk in customers AND online/call in and it made them frazzled, sloppy and forgetful. It was frankly a jumbled mess. They tripped over each other, leaned over food and it was almost so cray cray that I walked away. Management you need to completely separate the two functions of filling orders. Your staff are overwhelmed and you need to improve your operating procedures. Again the food is good but what I saw worries me about food handling and what other corners might be being cut.

Do yourself a favor. Please CHECK YOUR BAG FOR SAUCES before you go home to eat. Excitedly ordered multiple sauces to eat with my chicken and potatoes (because let’s be real, that’s 90% of the flavor) and they forgot to put them in the bag. Now I’m sitting in disappointment eating dry, bland chicken and potatoes. The only thing saving this review from a 1 star is these Brussels sprouts. But for real, check for the sauces. Tell your significant other, grandma, everyone. Otherwise disappointment.

I ordered a large meal for my family to enjoy and was surprised at the amount of salt that was used to flavor the dishes. It should enhance the flavor, not overpower it. The rice, pita bread and a few of the sauces were great, but everything else was inedible. Needless to say, we won't be eating here again.

I'm on a mission to find the best chicken sandwich in Charlotte. I was told to give this one a try. It's certainly hot, well the sauce is. Too hot in fact! I would get the sauce on the side and add it to your liking. As for the chicken it's pounded super thin (unfortunately) and the breading is lite (which is great). It gets a 3 because there really is not much chicken on the sandwich.

I had such an excellent experience here today for lunch! Got a build your own salad bowl with all my favorite stuff that I can't find other places as fresh or as many options: Baba ghanoush, tzatziki, tabbouleh, beets! Hot red sauce. Fresh pita! And the Greek yogurt macaroni and cheese was very good too! The people behind the counter were very kind and working together so well. Awesome thanks for a great treat!

A friend recommended we try this place for “great Israeli food”. I wasn’t sure what Israeli food was; turns out its chickpeas, chicken shawarma, falafel, tabbouleh, hummus….. The restaurant is in a Chipotle format in which you go trough the line to order and the staff makes it for you. Here you can have a bowl, salad, or pita with your choice of spreads and cold toppings, hot toppings, protein and sauce. It wasn’t really clear on what the options were and unfortunately the employee at the front of the line wasn’t helpful and seemed bothered that we asked questions and didn’t know the menu. Fortunately a repeated customer behind us in line explained things and offered suggestions. My husband and I each got bowls. The food was fresh, and flavorful, and overall pretty healthy. The price was reasonable as well. The portions were good; we didn’t go away hungry. I tried the falafel and it was really tasty; crunchy on the outside and moist but not wet or mushy on the inside and full of flavor. The pita bread was great; its fluffier than other pita bread and was great to get the last bits in the bowl. The location of the restaurant is tucked in the corner of an upscale shopping area and not visible from the street when driving by. Worth looking for and giving it a try.

While in CLT we grabbed two kids meals. The chicken shawarma kids meal. It comes with a variety of side choices. We chose rice, pita tahini sauce ,and our drinks were the cucumber melon lemonade. It was delicious and YAFO did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly the takeaways are hot and fresh tasting. We added a side of Moroccan lamb as well. The meals came to under 20.00 again kids meals but so tasty!

This restaurant (and Gov. Morrison location) were highly recommended by a friend who dines here often. I was told its “great Israeli food”, but I wasn’t sure what that menu would include. Turns out its falafel, chicken Shawarma, lemon yogurt chicken, hummus, chick peas, tabbouleh…..and so on. The restaurant itself is set up like Chipotle; basically employees behind the counter and you tell them what you want to build a bowl, salad, or pita. Having never been there we weren’t sure the format or options and although we asked the employee at the first station he didn’t really explain it and seemed bothered that we asked. We let a few other customers go past us while we still tried to figure things out. Luckily a customer sensed our confusion and asked if we needed help and we explained the process, options, and made suggestions. If it weren’t for the kind Samaritan, we might still be there in line. Once we got the idea and placed our orders we enjoyed our selections. The food was fresh, flavorful , and healthy. The prices were reasonable as well. The location was quite busy and had a mix of customers. Located in a interior of an upscale shopping area, you don’t see the restaurant form the street passing by and its tucked away in the corner. Next time we are in town we will go back for sure.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is courteous and and fast with making orders!!

Great little fast casual place. Be ready to order because they move you through quickly. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Always looking for a good plant-based meal and this one was a hit.
