Very Convenient to Residence in Charlttte Centtter City but we ordered to have somethingg in our stomachs bfore a concert at BOA stadium. Service was nice just slow,
WoB used to be my usual/regular spot when I lived in TX. When I moved here last year, I was excited because Charlotte had one! So when my best friend from TX visited, we treked over after a day of walking downtown. After walking in the summer heat, we took a seat at the bar dying of thirst and also intended to eat. However, even tho the place had MAYBE 5 people in it, we were never waited on. We sat there for about 10/15 minutes while bartenders just walked by without saying a single word. Eventually we just got up and left. Its sad that the Charlotte location was a complete let down. Won't ever bother going back.
Been here a couple of times before covid happened and the epic center was alive and the place to be.. I must say I didn't expect this place to be ran downhill.. once me and my party got in was told to seat at a table due to a baby which isn't a big deal.. once seated the server never came back for 30 minutes. So I grabbed the bartender.. was trying to get a quick bite to eat and a couple of drinks before going to Charlotte FC soccer game.. must say for a world of beer the beer selection was small (I know epic center is being auctioned and shutdown so I took it with a grain of salt.. I had to grab the bartender to get us started and order food and she said after this she couldn't do it bc it's the servers table . So the server saw is got taken care of and never bothered coming back.. the drinks took about 15 minutes yet she was basically by herself and it was pretty slow.. took 30 minutes for my loaded tots and side of french fries come out and they were cold.. not gonna go wait another 30 minutes to get more.. I went into the bathroom and there was vomit dried up on the urinal the bathrooms were disgusting.. there looked like dried vomit in sinks. Unsanitary and I felt even more disgusted.. definitely stay away. I feel like They probably have bad hygiene. Will never be back and I'd stay away if I were you.
Food was very good. Mac and cheese bites are definitely worth a try. Large beer selection, and the cocktails were good too.
Best wings I had in a long time! Freddy our waiter was awesome! Sailor punch is a recommended cocktail if you prefer fruity/mixed drinks.
We came here before the Eric Church concert at Spectrum Center, as it was one of the only restaurant/bars still open at the EpiCenter. They have a huge selection of beers and everything was reasonably priced. I got the French Dip, which was really good and better than I expected. My wife got a burger and she enjoyed it. If you’re headed to the arena, I’d recommend stopping in here beforehand.
Weekday happy hour and burger Mondays are awesome. Hopefully they’ll expand hours and add a brunch menu like other locations have.
Happened upon this place while visiting Charlotte. Large and varied beer selection, and the food we had was great. Shrimp tacos and a burger. Might be back for dinner!
Traveling from Virginia to Atlanta and was walking downtown in need of beer and food. I had my sights on another venue for food which didn’t work out. I thought I’d stop in here maybe get some good beer and figure out the food. I loved the beer and service. Marshall my server guided me through 3 awesome beers (Local IPAs) to my taste. The menu looked interesting and reviews good so on Marshall recommendation I got French dip with onions to go. It was one of the very best French dips I have had.
Waited in line for a drink for 30 minutes (after being seated) only to be told I needed to get up from my seat and stand in line at the bar (where my seat was) in order to purchase a drink. Waitress acted like since I wasn't a man, she couldn't be bothered.
