The atmosphere of the Metropolitan store stuck out to me over any other coffee shop I’ve been to. The staff I have met there have all been very professional and get things done in a timely manner. I find myself going here often to focus and get some work done. I love how welcoming and open everyone is and the overall vibe.
I was so excited to be there. I would say since 4 months planning to come there. I am dissapointed with the cold reception there from the people .. Also the seats are not equiped with plugins for chargers for your laptop nor your phone. When I asked them they pointed me to set in isolated table beside the bathroom .. It was not clean at all .. wet table and dirty seat.. I had all my positive vibes turned into depressed feelings .. I gave 2 only because the paradise latte was very nice I took with me and I sat out side the resturant neer to Dessellrs. I missed the zoom meeting which I was planning to attend while having my coffe there in Waterbean
Excited to come here because the first Waterbean Coffee I went to was while living in Da Nang, Vietnam. It was a very gorgeous and elaborate space with terrific drinks and cutting edge equipment and methods. I heard the brand started here in Charlotte and the owner was Vietnamese (which made sense), so while visiting the city I was excited to try the original. I haven't had a good Vietnamese iced coffee since living in VN, so I was very hopeful. It was strange that I had to pay extra for the sweetened condensed milk because that is literally the other essential ingredient besides coffee in a ca phe sua da (VN iced coffee). Unfortunately, the drink was horrible, and much more like a thin, tart latte than a rich and robust VN iced coffee. The atmosphere and seating were very pleasant and the barista was terrific, but the overpriced drink was disappointing for sure.
This location does not deserve a star. We have been going to this location for over 3 years. New staff not making drinks correctly or taking the orders correctly. My family came in 2 weeks prior(April 23) andasked to remake the one out to four drinks. Apparently after 2 week (May 8), the barista(dark hair) recognized us and intentionally made 4 out of 6 drinks wrong from size, to hot or cold and the milk alterative. When a staff member intentionally makes a drink incorrectly, management should reassess who they hire. Someone can come in with health issues and cause health risk for that person. One drink suppose to be a large Matcha, looks like a regular.
Sandwich was good, coffee was good, the red velvet brownie was the best brownie I’ve ever had in my life!! Staff was friendly and everything came out fast.
Excellent environment, excellent drinks, and excellent service! If you want a coffee shop that will make you feel like at home, come here!!!

It was a little much for me. The atmosphere of that shopping center is super bougie. I mean they did give me a nice cup of coffee though. Staff was pretty kind and knew what they were doing. I asked for the dark roast it didn't take them too long came out good
