cannot believe it’s my first time trying Viva chicken! It’s so good! Love the fried rice and chicken! Everything was really good! You have to try if you haven’t yet.

I moved to Charlotte about 4months ago and found Viva Chicken in the Waverly shopping plaza. If I could eat here very day I would ! The food is great - very healthy - and the service is always phenomenal. Elaine in particular goes out of the way to make sure me and my family are well taken care of. She’s a pleasure to talk with and a great representative of the place. . Nick is always helpful as well. I highly recommend this place ! Jim

Viva Chicken has consistently great food. The rotisserie chicken is excellent and the side items are always fresh. Desserts are fantastic as well. Maria, Baleria, and Nick (along with the rest of the crew) are warm and welcoming. They are uplifting and go the extra mile to make sure the experience is top-notch. I come here often and Viva Chicken never disappoints.

Am a Viva Chicken customer since its opened its first location. I tried the Waverly location for the second time today. I do think the manager is rude and need to be trained better for a good customer service, i saw some other reviews related to his attitude so am not surprised. I also did feel that his employees were not happy with taking his direction, I mean if I felt he was rude to me then what do you expect him to be with his staff. My wife and I ordered the family chicken meal and we were very sure to order the cilantro rice with that, order came with white rice, the manager served it himself so we told him we ordered cilantro not white rice, he goes back prints the receipt and get us a bowl of the cilantro rice, and points to me at the white rice in the receipt. All what i told him is that this is the employees fault not ours she took the order wrong when we made sure we told her cilantro rice, he turns his back and gives me a thumbs up, bad customer service, you could definitely lose customers from the attitude, not trusting what the customers say, and not giving the right customer service.

I’m not sure what has been going on with this Viva chicken location but over the last six months I have seen a decline in the quality of their lettuce and salads. The chicken and other toppings are always really good but sometimes a salad is either limp, a little brown, or has a strange taste to it.Overall I really like Viva Chicken. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the quality of their salads lately

We order from Viva Chicken at least 1-2 times per week for either lunch or dinner, but these past few weeks at this location has been terrible. For the last order (4/27/22 at 6:00) that we picked up, a side item and sauces were missing. My friend called the store to explain the issue. He was told to present the receipt, and we would get the items. I also wanted to make another purchase too. I drove back there to get the missing items, and the manger (who spoke to me in a very rude manner) told me that he knew nothing about this order. I explained to him several times, but he continued to say the same thing. I even called my friend to explain the situation to him on the phone. I showed him the receipt, and he asked to see it more than once. I found his behavior to be rather surprising, since he was the actual person that handed my friend the order 30 minutes prior. I was in the store for another 15 minutes before he tossed a bag of sauces and the side item on counter. There was no apology issued when they were the ones that made the mistake. And I had to drive all the way back to the store. The manager's name is Qui (forgive me if I misspell the name). I can't believe we even came back to this store, because the curbside is never curbside. I always have to go in to pick up my order. Three weeks ago, we waited for 40 minutes for our order, because they were so behind. The chicken wasn't even cooked properly. We had to put the chicken in the air fryer. Again, no apology for the wait. I have given this location so many chances to make improvements to their order process, quality of product and customer service. I will not be back. Yesterday, we went to another Viva Chicken location. Service and food was exactly what we expected.

We made an order for pickup at 6:00 p.m. Traffic is really bad at this time. When we got home with the order it was from someone else promised at noon. I called the store and asked them if the food should be warm and they said yes, I replied that it was pretty much cold and below room temperature. I seem to have annoyed this person. I was concerned about food poisoning. She did not seem to care one way or the other. I can never do an order pick up again at viva Chicken. When I ask her if I could have a refund she said well you'll have to speak to the manager. She didn't know that my other phone number has been on hold waiting for the manager to answer for over 20 minutes.Viva-Chicken reached out quickly and resolved the issue. They were VERY apologetic and promised to do a deep dive into making sure this never happens again, it was puzzling to both of us. They do have great food and we will most certainly be going back.Thank you Viva for caring about your customers!

We really enjoy the overall experience at this Viva Chicken location in Waverly. The Chicken quarters is always tasty when we order. The Chaufa rice served vegetarian style in itself is of good quality ant very filling. Served with a side of fried Yuca, it is highly recommended to use their green dipping sauce! Enjoy a fair price, and great accommodations onsite to dine in.

I've been here many times. Awesome food! I love the tacu bowl! Hard working friendly staff. My favourite fast casual place! Elaine and staff great! Tasty and healthy food!

Love the food but at the Waverly location they skimp on the chkn and sauces. And they really should remove the curbside option since i have to go inside and get it every single time. Sun valley location is 100x better.
