The Chicken at this location is amazing!!!! Cooked perfectly, If they had mac and cheese and greens at this location I would eat here twice a week. The fries and the sweet potato fries are good and the sauces are a perfect compliment to the chicken. I will be eating here often.
I am a sales rep and love using viva chicken to cater to the offices I am bringing lunch too. The Elizabeth location did a great job last week when I needed them. I called last minute and they were able to put together a great meal for 10 people. Thank you!!
The cashier that tended to me was “professional nice”. Like she was bothered but was being positive enough not to warrant a complaint. I got the chicken with cilantro rice. The food was decent- plantains were AMAZING and I’m not a big plantain person. However, since eating there 2 days ago I’ve been quite sick so I think I have salmonella infection or something close :( . I’d eat there again if it wasn’t a risk of being sick.
I always enjoy my experiences from this Viva Chicken! I wish they still did happy hour food specials. The manager at this location is one of the kindest people I have ever come across. I usually come about once a week and I've never had a bad meal. The food is great, but the good service is what really keeps bringing me back! Thank you!

The Peruvian fried rice nobody can copy it I tried it is dynamite and don't forget the green sauce on that delicious rotisserie chicken is it is a flavor that calls you twice a month.You have got to try this food you will not regret it, let's just say it is a comfort that will be desired often!

Placed a large to go order online and there was an error that occurred. I made the dreaded phone call but was pleasantly surprised by the level of patience and customer service I received by Maria. She took time to take my entire order then read everything back to me. This was even before the restaurant opened, at 10:55 am. Maria never rushed me, she made sure everything was correct with our order.When I picked up the order Maria introduced herself and she was the same sweet girl I met over the phone. The manager was also very helpful and provided plates and cups and helped me carry everything out to the car. During these times when it seems like excellent customer service is a thing of the past, Viva Chicken in Elizabeth proved me wrong and provided exceptional customer service!
They take forever to answer the phone…. I called 3x before finally someone answered. The lady could barely hear me when placing my order and had to repeat myself multiple times she kept saying “sorry it’s so loud in here.” I waited more than 30mins before someone finally realized my order was up on the shelf. Got Bruno’s Big Day- whole chicken with sides. Arroz chaufa quality went down, no flavor and they just throw in toppings to make it “Chaufa” but no flavor. French fries were hard and cold. Staff always rotates & they always seem to pick the rude ones. Definitely not the viva chicken is USED to be.
