Viva Chicken at Ballantyne has a pretty nice atmosphere and the outside seating is inviting even on hot days. The food over there is fantastic but my favorite things is the "Peruvian Afajor" that despite is very different than the Argentinian one still delicious! Not a huge variety of food options but you will enjoy a good chicken.
Great service. Great food. As I waited I watched the team communicate with each other regarding the status of orders as they were being prepared. Very streamlined and effective. The employee that helped me was so friendly and explained the different drinks that are offered. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. It seemed like she may have been the mgr. or lead because she had a commanding presence. Always a great experience at VivaLu
Great Healthy Foods and beverages. Our takeout Orders were filled quickly and bagged. Indoor seating and carry out waiting area are available.Awesome atmosphere.Super friendly??????????✅✅✅✅✅✅
Brittney crushed it. We had plenty of gluten free and vegan questions and she was able answer them all! She was patient, pleasant, and respectful. Give this girl a raise! Don’t need to explain how good the food is. Locals know.
Jenna and Martina are an amazing and friendly face as soon as my family and I walked into Viva Chicken. Jenna made sure to get our order correct and delivered hot and fresh. Martina was warm and welcoming. Both ladies made me feel like I knew them forever. Will definitely be coming back again. The food is delicious too might I add. Worth every penny!
I went in for the first time and what an experience. The food was amazing but the service was equally enjoyable. I cannot recommend this location enough. If you come in make sure whatever you get you get it with the yellow and green sauces. You wont regret it!
Viva Chicken has become our go to restaurant since moving to Charlotte a year ago. The food is always delicious, appealing and fast and the atmosphere friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Marcus at the Ballantyne location- you’re much appreciated! Thanks!

Sad to report this review. I love the food and service usually but after today's experience, very unhappy. I pre-ordered 2 hours in advance by the way, a simple lunch order to be picked up at 12pm. Order wasn't ready, when I checked on status I was told, it will be out soon. 12:15, and work lunch clock ticking I asked again and was told by another person "we are really busy and it's Friday so it will be another 15 min" ??? Bad business practice to say the least. I along with a few others got refunded for no lunch order. Here's a thought... When you offer preorders, they must be prepared on time. Not going back to this one, undue stress and no excuse. Shape up before others also, ship you out!
Today was my first time eating at this place and I would definitely come back with my family the next time. The food is really good, costumer service as well, the blonde cashier that was there today was quite the gentlemen and very good looking. Hope he takes our order next time we’re there!
