$12 wine served in a plastic cup. I have no problem with spending $12 for a glass of wine, but I do expect it to be in a glass. This isn't really a wine bar. It's connected to the restaurant next door, and the staff use this "wine bar" for storage. They are in and out constantly, but not to serve you. Okay selection which is why I gave 2 stars.
Went uptown with my wife for a date night, had dinner reservations nearby and wanted to stop in for some wine and a cheese plate before dinner. The place is small, but there weren’t many people inside so we grabbed a couple seats by the bar. No employees were in sight, nor behind the bar. We waited for about 15 minutes and no one showed up - we even called to see if someone would come answer the phone and they didn’t, so we decided to leave and get a drink next door at the Cotton Room at Belfast. As we walked out the door we saw a woman lackadaisically coming out of the back of the restaurant to get behind the bar. She made eye contact but said nothing to us as we left. This will be one of those awful experiences that we tell people about, and running a bar/restaurant like this is totally unacceptable. If I could give zero stars I would.
Nice wine lounge, average service
