Saturday evening at Tyber creek was a enjoyable …. Friendly staff and good drink ?
Good and classic Irish pub. Pretty straightforward bar. Nice outdoor seating and patio. Would recommend.
I'm sorry, the atmosphere is ok but the fact the cheapest pint, or at least I asked for the cheapest pint and was given an $8 beer, was way to ordinary for $8; on top of it being so busy it took 5 to 7 min to get the bartenders attention... Mind you the bar is very small. If you're a regular keep it if you've never been there before don't bother.
Had a great time at the Tiber Creek Pub in Charlotte South End. We went for football Sunday. The bar was a cozy old school Irish pub. It was pretty busy. You had to order your food and drinks at the bar and then they brought it to the table. We had the buffalo wings which were very good, meaty, crispy and saucy and the blue cheese was great. The pretzel was good- soft and fluffy. The burger and fries were really good too. We ordered it medium rare but it came more rare which I absolutely love. Will definitely go back.
What a fantastic experience, thanks to harper, Lauren and the team for making this Canadian feel at home and check out this pretzel yummmmmy.
Drinks are overpriced, the atmosphere is kind of frat boy-esque. I've been on a relatively quiet night before, but the last time I went on a night that all the college kids were there, barely any parking, too many people packed inside and outside. Only a couple people working for the dozens and dozens of people there. Took forever to get one drink not to mention all the crazy drunk rude college kids you have to deal with. Not my favorite watering hole in town, probably won't go back if I don't have to.
Laid back Irish pub experience. Home of the Charlotte Kansas City Chiefs Fans. Nice selection of Irish whiskey.
A pretty cool place. Just wish it were a little bigger. Pretty decent prices though.
This pub in suburban Charlotte offers a varied menu and a large selection of beers. The atmosphere is laid-back and the setting, especially the outdoor patio surrounded by vines and bushes, is inviting. Our dinner choices were the Shepherd's Pie with the traditional filling of lamb, carrots, peas and mashed potatoes and the Lamb Sliders with three different additions - curry, goat cheese, and smoked onion aioli. Both choices were delicious. The beer menu offered about 15 brews on tap and a wide selection of bottled beers. This looks like a good hang-out place too, with corn hole boards and a ping pong table just off the patio.
My go to bar in south end!! The bartenders are great! Daniel and Bobby are the best at making drinks. The food is amazing. The pretzels and beer cheese to die for and the flat breads are great!!
