An excellent Jamaican spot but now it is expensive and I understand so is everything else but with the food costing more you get less food. This is my favorite Jamaican restaurant and one of 3 that I go to in the entire state. The Beaties Ford location is the best one, the food is excellent and has great flavor. I would give them 5 stars if the portions stayed the same as a couple years ago. I don't mind paying more for the same amount of food not more for less.
Way way overpriced and the food is not that great! They charged 16.00 for a snack pack which is utterly ridiculous! I wasn't given any sides, no salad, I can see why ya'll keep moving and going out of business because it's not worth the money first and last time!
The food wasnt the problem!!!! The customer service sucks!!! The person that takes your order and answer the phone very rude and I do mean rude!!! I mean you shouldnt be rude to people who are spending good money with you. It make them not want to come back which I'm not for that apparent reason.
They charging $25 for oxtails now and I still had to go home to warm the oxtails up and I literally live down the street. And I got like 4 pieces of oxtail. Definitely was not worth it.
Food was very delicious. Staff was very friendly and personable. This was my first visit after hearing about this restaurant for years. I was not disappointed and I will certainly return. A word of advice-You've got to get there early, because they run out of food pretty quickly.
Best oxtails in Charlotte.They go fast so have to get there early Yams are to die for. Amazing food and the two ladies there on 2nd shift are the bomb. Make you feel like it's you birthday
I am normally a happy customer but today not so much. For one it says online they open at 11 but they dont open until 12. So I sat a hour and once I was able to make my order this is what I received. The cabbage was not done, and the oxtails where very hard and chewy like they should have been cooked longer. And to top it off they didnt even give me a full tray. The mac and cheese was dry and over cooked.
LOVE LOVE this place ! its in the hood and the parking lot a little hectic but the food is AMAZING everything is home made. The employees are always catering to my needs making sure my food is correct and to my satisfaction. if there is any problems the manager has their cell on the reciept. they are kind of pricey but its worth it. get the greens , oxtail, and cornbread with mac and cheese.
I go here literally once a week! My favorite is the jerk chicken dinner plate. I also love their veggie plates too! Music is always loud AF, you almost have to yell your order… but I guess it’s ok. The younger cashier is the friendliest of the 2, she’s patient and she has the best customer service.
Out freaking standing!!! Will definitely recommend to bring in more business…. Amazing, honestly haven’t tried a restaurant better than this one… everything was perfect.
