Food was great- came out quickly, was hot and cooked perfectly. Service was even better, Diana was helpful and friendly. She treated me like family and ensured my order was just right.
Shout out to Phillip the SSI Security Officer for advising Tony's Pizza today. Here now absolutely great choice and delicious New York Style pizza and pasta.
I ordered baked wings and got the regular fried wings. They were old and dried out. Re-dropped in the grease for the appearance of the steam and cold on inside. I couldn’t even eat them. And you could taste that the grease was old and it definitely told on the fries. A total waste of my money. So you saved a few dollars but, you lost a customer. Old food is not the way to go.
There are other Tony's pizza places around Charlotte that are 10 times better. We found out later that they are not affiliated. We tried them today anyway because we saw they had a "molten cake" on their menu. This is just a hard chocolate bundt cake with nothing in the middle. It tasted old and stale. We tried to warm it up to see if it would soften but it didn't. The wings were rubbery and the pizza had no flavor; even with the beef pepperoni. Needless to say, we suffered through dinner tonight ??♀️.
Shrinkflation hits. Y'all used to load the cheese on the pie, now I see sauce around the edges and sauce throughout the rest of the pizza. I get it, prices are going up - but this is a completely different pizza now. Not even using the same Italian sausage. Please raise your prices - lowering your standards is a terrible way to run your business. I'll try yall one more time, but after that, I'm looking elsewhere for local pizza.
The best oven baked pizza in Charlotte by far. This has been the only place I eat pizza for the last year. They are also the only pizza place that serve a variaty of halal toppings.
We ordered through grubhub and by the time I ate, I had to reheat the bbq chicken pizza and chicken alfredo. It was pretty good.
Literally the worst Tonys pizza I've ever had. I'm from CT so NY style pizza is an automatic goto. From steelecreek to uptown never had an issue. This location has options for crust. As I've never been asked I didn't know what the difference was n made it very clear i didn't want thin. The sauce was off, the pizza was doughy, an the toppings were nearly non existent. Extremely disappointed on this $18 medium pizza n I left a tip. Never again. The location was clean but I guess the lack of knowledge from the staff had me order the wrong pizza.
Literally have had better pizza at a gas station. The dough has those little perforations in it, so it’s definitely frozen and not hand tossed. The sauce tastes like it’s made by Chef Boyardee. Barely any cheese on the pie. This pizza is maybe comparable to Pizza Hut or Dominoes, both of which would cost half the price. Hell Little Caesar’s blows these guys away. I would rather eat a Red Baron any day over this place’s pizza.
Calzone tasted like very plain, basic, grocery-store calzone in the refrigerated area. I paid for a topping to go in it (green peppers, and the pieces were very thin slivers & they were only here & there. You cannot get a cup of water here. .instead, you have to buy a bottle. They gave me no plastic eating utensils. Thank goodness I was going home, so I could eat with utensils. No extra (very little), container of sauce was given for Calzone - when I asked for one - unless you pay for 75 cents for it & the 1st container that was given was ALREADY pretty little for even a small calzone. It does not seem like an AUTHENTIC, New York-type pizzeria at ALL & they "skrimp" & are chintzy on EVERYTHING!
