Moved here from Texas about 8 months ago. Best Mexican food I've found so far in Charlotte. I had enchiladas and the sauce they use is very flavorful.Update: Finally made it back and tried the chicken chimichanga. It was good. But it's stuffed with rice and beans so you should order it without the sides
I ordered the Shrimp Tostada for lunch via Uber Eats on Monday, 2-28-22. I hadn't physically been to this restaurant in years. The portion was good, just enough to be filling. The food was fresh & hot. All of the sauces were good. They didn't skimp on the shrimp, either. Didn't disappoint & was as good as I remembered.
This place is FANTASTIC!! My dad recommended this place. Ordered tacos to go. The food was made with fresh ingredients. Mouthwatering delicious authentic tacos. Get the corn tortillas, your choice of meat, cilantro & a squeeze of fresh lime….WOW.

When I picked up my food I was very hopeful it was packed and the counter was lined with to go orders. THE staff were excellent and the food was good I got the fajitas and my husband also got fajitas. Here are my notes: I ordered him chicken because we dont eat red meat and it was chicken and beef. Besides that, the rice was bomb and I loved my veggies but it needed lime juice on the Escalade toppings also I like cream I'm sure lots of people do. I'd go back because the nachos on the menu look like they'd be amazing.

This place needs a do over. They cleaned a table just before we sat down and for a while it smelled like bleach and grease mixed together.The food is mediocre at best. Every dish we ordered was bland and tasteless. We had to add salt and hot sauce to get some taste. While we were eating a fellow starts sweeping the floor in front of our table. Lots of other great Mexican eateries around town. This is not one of them.
Great service. Really amazing prices. The drinks were a little expensive but they were still good. Had the veggie fajitas. The chips and salsa were really great too. I thought $2.50 was a lot for extra sour cream but it is what it is. Would definitely go back.
I could not get the Colony/Rea location to pop up. We were not at Central Ave. location. My food was good. My son’s girl friends food was the wrong order… She liked it ok. My husband said his was ok. I heard great things about the other location being good. We’ll probably give it another try.
