nice, spacious place in plaza midwood with a cool outdoor area. large menu selection with delicious bar food, and they also have ping pong tables, pool tables, and other bar games!
Thomas Street tavern is always a great experience, the way it's designed and sectioned allows for you to have a different experience any given night at the same place. There's always great people there whether your social butterfly out by yourself or out with a group of friends, plenty of seats tucked off in corners if you just wanted to come out and drink and people watch. Cool lawn games, drinks and TV always make for a great night
Great location in the Central area of Charlotte, reasonable drink and food prices. Staff was friendly. The patio is huge! Lots of space for social gatherings. It was a great band here the night I went. Also outside it was a wonderful Juneteeth celebration. Loved it!!
Ordered food. Waited close to an hour. Had to hunt someone down to bring it out. It was cold. Not fit to eat. Paid for it at the time of order with a large tip. Most horrible night I have had in Charlotte. Do not go to this place.
If you go at the right time this is one of the best bars in the city. It can very easily get too crowded and make it a less enjoyable experience, though. Really good sandwiches.
Not really picky with places, but my family and I walked in, real slow, stood at the front for a couple minutes looking for someone to help us, wasn't greeted by anyone or told where we should sit. Decided to just sit down at a booth, waited for several more minutes, no wait staff in sight. Wasn't even busy, fairly empty. We left and went to Calle Sol across the street, it was fantastic!
Dylan, Taylor, Erin, and Buckley make this place my favorite bar in Charlotte. I had too much to drink, and they cut me off - Thank God. I've seen the staff here order Ubers for people who weren't able to, break up fights, and defend locals vehemently. I will always be back, as long as I'm allowed ? They have great bar food, too; the mexicali nachos (or tot-chos) and the wings are staples, but the specials are always amazing! I would rate this place a sky full of stars, if I could.
Love this place. They have live music on the weekends and the food is also good. Great staff love the bartenders. Definitely a spot to visit.
i like this bar a lot, but you have be careful about certain clientele. there was an altercation one of the last times i went there, i think someone had a knife (that's what i heard). apparently you need to watch your drink here too? it was my favorite local bar until i started noticing the kinds of people that can venture over here...
Always a good time. It's the CHEERS of Charlotte, where everybody knows Your name. On Friday there is a small cover charge.. Live Music.. Good food, good drinks and good people!
