My husband and I were married at the Ballantyne Country Club on June 11th 2022 and we could not be more pleased with our cake! The Wow Factor cakes has so many excellent reviews. Unfortunately they seem to be extremely busy at the moment as something went very wrong with our wedding cake sample.It took weeks to order a sample as they take long to answer emails. We also had to pick a specific combination of icing, cake and filling so I'm not sure if for the wedding we would have been able to fully customize the flavors. The cake was extremely dry, we did not taste the raspberry at all in it cause the layer of filling had more buttercream than anything else, very few extract quantity of both almond and vanilla used as we didn't feel any flavor at all on the cake or the buttercream. Their designs are beautiful so if you want a fake cake I'm sure this is the place to go but the flavor of our sample was terrible. We also want a full custom cake and I think decoration wise it's probably full custom and excellent but we are more interested in a real cake and a more custom experience on flavors too. Not sure what happened but I am concerned my wedding cake will not taste as expected as they seem to be very busy.
I would absolutely order from here again!! The cake pops were amazing, the chocolate dipped pretzels…. All of it! The way it was safely shipped, how beautifully it was packaged, and how amazing they looked and tasted. They NAILED it! 5 out of 5 stars….
Do not look any further if you are in need for a wedding cake in the Charlotte area. We feel so privileged to have gotten to use Wow Factor Cakes at our December wedding. The cake tasted amazing, was set-up on time, and was absolutely stunning. We love the time that we got to spend planning the flavor and design ahead of contract and have not looked back since. The cake was the center piece to our wedding and it could not have turned out better. 10/10.

As a second time bride insistent upon making up for my first horribly ugly cake, my bar was set super high and I was worried I’d be let down again. Not only did the end result WOW us visually but it tasted amazing too! My vision was captured every step of the way and I can honestly say everything was exceptional! I wish I could give more stars but I will shout THANK YOU!

I could not find a way to ask a question on my device but do you think you can make a 3d cake to look like this bunny? If not, do you have any tips for testing it out at home? thanks. and for the pic with the shirt on could you possibly make him wearing that? if possible again... could you get him sitting on a cake sorta stool with frosting like the pattern top with a lining on the bottom like the pattern lining thanks
