We couldn’t be happier with our choice to work with Uptown Catering, and specifically Mik, for our wedding! The overall experience was excellent. A month later and our guests are still raving about the food! Mik went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted, and worked closely with us from beginning until end. The bartenders were phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and fun. The value for everything we received was unbeatable, and we couldn’t recommend this company more!
Just to take a moment to shout out Uptown Catering Company for their impeccable service during my mom's 83rd surprise birthday party! Your professionalism and attentiveness was outstanding. Everyone raved about the food and the display of it did not disappoint! Mic was so friendly and down to earth, not to mention were neighbors up north. Me from New York and him from Jersey. Loved your energy. I don't remember the rest of the staff's names, but please let them know that they did an outstanding job. We will definitely call on you and recommend a for future events. Is there a higher rating than 5 stars? If so I would give it to Mike Ingersoll and the Uptown Catering Company team! We chose them to do the wedding reception for my son and friends and family still tell me that is the nicest wedding reception they've been to! What they bring to your event you cannot place a dollar value on, because they bring over 30 years of experience of what works well and what doesn't. The food variety, quality, quantity and value you will not match. Guest after guest made comments such as "Did you see the size of those shrimp?" and "the most tender meat I've ever eaten!" But for me the peace of mind of knowing they had taken care of every detail I am most grateful. Mike has assembled a team with a former Chef of the Year, and a lead manager of Mik and his assistant Missy and I can assure you our event was incredible because of them. Mike (owner) and Mik took the time to go to the reception venue weeks ahead and make note of every detail, and any curve or workaround that came up at the event including weather issues they handled beautifully. Mik would even find me all during the event to make sure all was well. The attention to detail and the desire to make the event unforgettable, you would have thought it was their own family getting married!! Oh by the way this was not my first event using Uptown Catering Company so trust me when I say this is how Mike handles his business, the peace of mind that my event will be the very best means everything!
I wish I could give 7 stars. Planning the menu from their great choices to last minute accommodations were made very pleasant. We had a party for 50 with butler service Hors d’oeuvres and cheese and fruit spread. Dinner with the best, perfectly cooked beef filet, salmon and trimmings had our guests raving. All the way thru cleanup, the staff took care of every detail.The price an quality can’t be beat.We have booked them for our daughter’s wedding!
I had to plan a luncheon blitz for our R&D team and decided to use Uptown Caterers for two reasons; their menu was amazing and their cost was very reasonable.Everyone was delighted with the food as was I. However, what impressed me most was their ability to handle the last minute curves thrown my way due to Covid.Tnk you Mike, Mik and the entire Uptown Caterers Team.
We used Mike and Uptown for an event last weekend and WOW - what a first-class experience from beginning to end. Mike was fantastic to plan with and the menu options were amazing. Our guests could not stop talking about the food!! We also chose the Gourmet Pretzel bar, which was perfect for our event. The crew showed up on time, set up with no problems and had everything we needed. Gino was amazing with our guests and it was just a fantastic experience. Thanks guys for making it so easy to throw a great party!
Ok let me just share how happy I am that I chose Uptown Catering for our most recent work lunch!!! I needed a nice boxed lunch for 15 people and they really came through. With all the food delivery apps these days, I did not want to risk an order going wrong so I decided to give Uptown Catering a try. Not only was the food amazing, but the delivery was seamless, and they answered all of my calls and emails right away. Exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone in heartbeat. Can't wait to use them for future events!
With only 2 weeks to plan due to last minute change in location for an engagement party we were hosting, I called Mike with Uptown Catering and he immediately put me at ease with all we had to do. His team took care of everything and even helped work everything out to meet our budget! From tables, linens, all food, alcohol, plates, etc. They were great at setting up, extremely professional during the event and the food was amazing! We received so many compliments on the service and food from our guests. The staff were very friendly and we loved working and getting to know Mike! Mick was also great organizing and leading everything during the event. We will definitely be using them again - potentially for rehearsal dinner next year! Thanks again Mike and team!

10 STARS The tags don’t express how I feel about Uptown Catering. Mike, Jimmy and Nick and the crew are all SOOO AMAZING!! I love my caterers. The food is amazing and tastes delicious. Seasoned well not bland at all. They send a team to set up decor and the food is delivered hot and ready to go. They are prepared with more food to keep the trays from being empty and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They even walk around the event space and pick up plates and cups. Just top Notch customer service all across the board. The difference with them than other caterers that I’ve used is that they take the time to find out what you really want and need and they make it happen. AND super reasonably priced. I love these guys. I use them for everything! Happy Holidays. Book your holiday party asap.
