great bbq and hushpuppies
The food was delicious. Loved the brisket. The macaroni and cheese and collard greens were great. Everyone was very happy with their selections. Would definitely return.
First visit, and wow! Great portions and prices. Excellent taste. Tender brisket, still reasonably priced, unlike many places. Have had tough brisket and paid a lot for it. Had no idea they were there. Now I do.?
Amazing bbq and southern comfort food. The sides of Collard Greens and Potato salad were yummy too along with hush puppies. Staff checked on to see how it all tasted.
I gave Q Shack because of the quality level of the bbq. BBQ was tuff. When I ordered my sandwich it was in a water. Which is not a bad thing I keeps the meat moist but it was defiantly not fresh. The green were awesome and the sweet tea was very good. The Mac n cheese was dry and lacking cheese. The hush puppies were hoot too. Over all what make a good bbq place is the bbq. And it was not very good
The hush puppies here are God's second greatest gift to the world! Everything on the menu is amazing, the place is spotless, and the open kitchen is great!
Ordered from Doordash, the food was really good. The greens were well seasoned, sweet potato mash was delicious.The wings were probably my favorite, seasoned very well?? Not sure what the white sauce is but it has a blue cheese flavor and went great with the wings.Pulled pork and Pulled chicken weren't as seasoned as the rest of the food, but still pretty good with the BBQ sauce and a little salt (the thicker sauce is my preference)
We recently needed catering for a gathering after a funeral. It was a tough week and Dan was so sweet and helpful. He helped me figure out what we needed and personally came the next day to set everything up at my house. Not only did everyone love the food, he made the whole process so seamless during a really tough time for our family. I can’t recommend their food or service enough. Thank you.
Amazing food and amazing people! Dan and his crew catered our wedding and we could not have asked for a better caterer! He was great helping select the menu (which is tough with all of the great food!), answering questions, and making the experience wonderful for us and our guests. They were able to accommodate food allergies without making those guests feel like they were getting less than everyone else. I will make sure to stop by any time we pass through Charlotte. Again, amazing food and amazing people!! 10/10 Would recommend!
I recently used the Q Shack to cater my wedding reception. I live in TN and my reception was being held in Charlotte, which left me having to handle the entire catering planning process virtually. I am SO GLAD I chose The Q Shack, as they did not disappoint!!!! They went above and beyond all my expectations and provided excellent service and outstanding food at my reception!From the beginning, the owner and his team were incredibly responsive to my questions and were even generous enough to allow my parents to come enjoy multiple taste test on my behalf. All their recommendations were spot on. On the day of the reception, they arrived early and well-prepared. They clearly take pride in their catering and it shows. The owner himself stayed for a majority of our reception to ensure it went off without a hitch. The employee helping serve the food was super friendly.And of course, the food was out of this world! Everything was hot and fresh (which is no easy feat when providing catering, I promise you that). The brisket was phenomenal (and that is high praise coming from a Memphian). The Mac 'n cheese was a guest favorite. The owner shared with me that these dishes were all his wife's recipes.All in all, I couldn't recommend the Q Shack enough - whether you need catering, or a place to pick up lunch. You'll love the food and the thoughtful service with it. THANK YOU for making my reception a memorable evening!
