They stay so busy! I went on a Friday afternoon and the place was packed. That’s definitely an amazing thing. They had a great selection of coffee options and wine/beer. I enjoyed their seasonal Black Walnut Latte and it was really tasty.

The Hobbyist has what many cafes lack these days. They have an understanding of their espresso pulls and the art of making a drink to give you a beautifully presented beverage with the right flavor as well. I had a few of their selection. The chai latte is exactly what a chai latte should be. It didn't taste overly sweet like many do and the different spices and herbs of the chai were present and clear. Their espresso was also wonderful. I'm not usually someone who enjoys just straight espresso but I suppose I do when it is done right. The Hobbyist does it right. The live band in the background also helped add to the experience. Very pleased.

I went here yesterday with my buddy Josh. I loved their Black Walnut Latte. I drank 2 of them. I had a hot and an ice. It was perfectly made!

I went to the Hobbyist this morning and was blown away by the skill and hospitality of the Barista's.The overall service was amazing! It was truly a grand example of what third wave coffee should be! I ordered one of their signature lattes (Toasted Sage & Fig) it was spot on. The flavors blended perfectly with the espresso! They have pastries delivered from a local bakery down the street too (which I think is amazing since they don't have a kitchen in house)The atmosphere is stunning. You can tell that whoever designed the space carefully curated the antiques and plants with intention! They have plenty of seating but from what I could see it was filling up fast. This is now my new favorite specialty coffee spot in Charlotte! Way to go Hobbyist!!!!!

Great coffee! The cronut we had was to die for. The chill vibes of this place make me wish I had a reason to stay and hang out with my laptop to study/work. Alas I'm not that cool... so I just sit with my coffee and pretend to look productive.

Good vibes, tons of space and a coffee bar to sit at. Very comfy place.. The cinnamon bun was good but need a tad bit more frosting. Loved it all..

Awesome little place in Noda. Awesome bottle shop with a great tap list. Coffee is amazing too.

Love the idea of a coffee bar that also doubles as a chill spot with draft beers! The Hobbyist also had cooled beer that can buy to drink there or make four packs to go. Did I mention wine that they can uncork for you? It has couches and tables, as well as an actual bar. You can stay as little as long as you'd like. The coffee was delicious, and I loved all the drinking options! Will def be returning.

Great Latte flavors and presentation, hope they open a good breakfast menu too.Soothing place to hangout with friends.

Place has a great vibe to it and smells great when you walk in. It took 20 minutes to get a latte though. To long for a coffee shop. If you're in a rush to grab coffee and run I don't recommend. The coffee was great though.
