I decided to treat my mom for her birthday yesterday I ordered $72 of food. In our bags we had shrimp oysters potatoes (my bag) and one bag had crabs legs oysters and shrimp (my mom). When I got home I noticed my moms bag was missing potatoes. I called and spoke with the assistant manager, she advised me that she would put it with our next order because they were closed. I was fine with that because we order from them often. A hour and a half goes by and me and my mom both are throwing up and have diarrhea. I called today and advised the assistant manager and let her know I would bring my bag up there but my mom finished hers. When I got there she told me that my mom would need a doctors note stating she’s been throwing and and having diarrhea and the only thing they could offer back was $25. I will never order from here again‼️ If I could give zero stars I would
I usually take out when I go here. However, occasionally I will eat in as well. The food is always hot and delicious. I normally get the Special (seafood boil in bag) which has corn, potatoes, crab legs, Lobster tail, sausage and I always add in two eggs. They have different flavors and spice levels for the sauce. I get the cracker sauce which is a combination of all the sauces...very tasty! Also, if you like fries, I recommend the Cajun fried, so good!
Fast and friendly service!! The food is fresh and so hot! It was so good but we couldn’t eat it all, we should’ve shared a boil.
Disregard- this is the incorrect restaurant and was meant for Red Crab on Perimeter Pkwy!ambiance itself is nice. The seafood boil was mediocre. I’ve def had better elsewhere. I had to ask for a cracker for my crab legs when it should have been provided to me. I was not provided the hard boiled egg I asked for. My dessert was terrible. I left the cheesecake sitting there actually. It was frozen still. The waitress was not too attentive and engaged. The restaurant was not busy at all so I feel she could’ve been a little more friendlier. I just paid for the meal without complaint because I just was not in the mood to make a fuss. However, I just won’t go back there again- simple.
They are the best seafood restaurant in Charlotte. The Geaux Platter is great and you get a variety without the outrageous prices others charge for you to create a boil!! I recommend all seafood lovers to give it a try and guarantee you'll come back.
My boyfriend took me there for Valentine’s Day because he knows seafood is my favorite. I had never heard of this restaurant and I was EXTREMELY satisfied. We were immediately greeted upon entry and seated. Not long after our waitress came over to take our drink and food orders and less than 20 minutes later our food was done. The cracker sauce is AMAZING! And it’s a different experience being able to write on the wall letting other guests know that you’ve been there. I will DEFINITELY be going back for more!
We have visited this location on numerous occasions and never have we experienced terrible customer service when ordering to go for the first time instead of dining in around 5:15pm. The young lady at the register is extremely unprofessional. She never welcomed us in and then waited until one of us started the other. She (Server: Manna1_) then seemed to become frustrated when she read back the order we placed wrong by aggressively tapping the screen as if we were being an inconvenience. If this young lady had not been consumed in her phone she would have been able to fully tend to us. Her and another waitress then began to stare down customers as they walked in but never asked what they were here for while other waitresses were tending to their tables. It’s beyond unprofessional and disappointing when people like to dine here occasionally and have to experience this type of service.Besides this, the food is always great, hot and fresh.
Definitely been coming here for years never had an issue at all with my orders. Clearly they hired someone new because they lady at the register tells me that I can’t order an 1/2 pound of mussels if I’m not a child. Which is not stated on the menu at all. They I showed them the menu which is order is what I order all the time. And they tried to kick me out. If I can give it a zero I would but I can only give it a one. Very rude service.In respond to the manager josh, because for some reason or another I’m no longer able to make a review. But I told you that I would pay for everything separately. Because I wanted 4 boil eggs. I never asked for anything free. You on the other had stated I could not get 1/2 pound of anything unless I was a child which is not on the menu. Again I order the same thing everytime I go there. And to my understanding you left me just standing there and had your worker Approach me who was very rude and unprofessional all together. You wanted to put me out after I started taking pictures of the menu for this review.
I got the steamed clams they were tiny but delicious my family and I enjoyed them, love it with the corn inside the bag. Also got the fried fish and french fries they were tasty too. The menu doesn't state prices the cashier weren't very knowledgeable of their prices of their food and no menus to take out. The service is kind of iffy but I did take the food to go the taste of the food override the unknowledgeable service. I'll go again to try other foods and maybe the service will be better.
The seafood boil was amazing...Very good seasoning and plenty to eat.Fried food was not the best, tried crawfish tails and they taste like they were cooked in old grease... service was ok nothing special but worth the try!!!Willing to go back when grease is fresh!
